there would be rotating brownouts soon

many years before, there was a critical supply of electricity in the country. brownouts would last 8 hours daily. so it was horrible experience. but now we would have some or few hours brownout only. as they would need to fix something on the electrical power plant. so they would need to do rotating brownout because they can't supply all the electrical demand of all people all at once while they were having some maintenance. as they would need to shut down one power plant and so the source of electricity would be less. i don't know how many power plan they have here.

Really? In what country? Is this a prediction of the future? If I had to go without electricity for hours at a time, I think I'd be okay. I'd have to come up with creative ways to store food and keep cool or warm, but I'd find a way to work and entertain myself without power. I'd probably read a book or do some exercise, or I could do hand-written stuff. We lived and thrived before electricity, and if you ask me then we've become far too dependent on it lately.
