Arsenal have made Olivier Giroud their second summer signing. Previously, the fans will be happy if Wenger made one big signing but he seems to be changing his transfer policy. With another new striker, the big question is that are they replace for Van Persie or to complement the Dutch striker. What do you think?

What surprising more is that it all done before the transfer even open. It meant we get the player we want early and at the cost we afford to pay before the like of Big money club (ManCity, Chelsea, ManUtd, Barcelona, PSG, Anzhi and China based club) can have the eye on the player we are after for. I think Giroud will be a good addition and so does Lucas Podolski. Things look a lot better now. a big hope for new season and let it be successful.

Either it was the experience of the previous season or the Euro 2012. Wenger may be worried that a good tournament will add a few more millions to the targets that he is eying. In any case, this is definitely a move from the previous style of getting the new players. Wenger is and has moved fast to put them on board.

It is hard to understand what goes through A.Wenger, RVP or even the board minds. A week ago, Wenger rubbished transfer rumours saying RVP is going to Juventus. So i am not so sure. Giroud is certainly no RVP. He's proven himself in French league, but the BPL is a whole another level or experience. The hype, the media adds more to the pressure to perform. But physical wise, giroud is a great addition as he will be the so call target man, more or less like Chamakh was before he fades away. So here we've done 2 deals i.e 2 forwards. Now get 1 or 2 more defensive player, maybe a defensive mid and a defender who could play across the back 4.

If the M'Vila rumors is true, then Arsenal would have gotten themselves a very good defensive midfielder. Thou I have only seen him played once, against Spain in Euro 2012, I was pretty impress. A nice and tidy player who breaks up the opposition play and quickly pass the ball onto a team mate to try and make things happen. And even if we get him, we are still one defensive player short. Feeling gutted that Ventoghen prefer Spurs over the Gunners.

Giroud comes but the captain left,.. there are many tears and sorrow when the captain once again left Emirates.. the bad part based on Wenger that they sell their stars to their competitor..

Podolski and Giroud are good additions to the Arse - Podolski and Giroud are good additions to the Arsenal squad.
Van Persie is still unsettling so there is no harm in getting another striker. It is in fact good additions to the squad even if RVP stays. Chamakh, Ashavin and Bendtner will not be around in the new season. Rosický and Wilshere could still be nursing their injuries. So with the new players at Wenger's hand, at least Fabianski would not be needed to play in midfield. I am not sure about how fast Podolski and Giroud could gel in the team but I have a feeling that Arsenal will still be having a slow start in the new season like the last one but will soon find their feet and will be climbing up the table steadily. They may find it hard to remain in the top 4 though.

I think that with the arrival of Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski to Arsenal square off as if only striker Robin van Versie pot so weeks to leave the Emirates Stadium. And it also had iakatakan by Arsene Wenger when the news was widely terntang Robin. Robin's decision to go it makes management of Arsenal getting ready to find a replacement, and one of them dalah Olivier Giroud.
