last night we got in late from our mini vacay! my daughter was feeling a little blue so we took her to our little swimming spot at the hunt crossing and she lit up like a light and was like i remember this!! she changed into her swim suit so fast i was surprised by how fast she did it! did u ever do anything last minute? we did and we dont usuallly do this. i usually have to plan for trips that we take as a family but this last time was all on impulse! his cousins came over becaseu they were on their way to Concan, TX. they were going to meet up with friends and they invited us to come along so we did! it was nice and i had a great time, we all did! we stayed there for 2 days and 2 nights. ive got pic but they're not going to be posted til i upload them on my computer. did u know that these ppl who live in tourists places have to make a living on whatever they make for tourists...like this place Concan. they have 100 days out of the whole year to make a living. they have to live off of what they make on the 100 days of hottness. they rent out tubes for $7. a family or party of 15 for a meal is like 200 bucks! its really pricey but its worth it i think. i mean all we paid for was the gas to get there and the room and meals were free. the lodge we stayed in house 19 ppl. 7 bdrms and 5 bathrooms 2 huge living areas and a large deck that overlooked the mountains. they told me....actually i heard that it was 1500 a night/day. we went floating down the frio river and we went swimming and we made s'mores and went for a late night dip in the pool under the stars....total blissssss!!!!!!!!!!!
