Interest in making a foreign food

Hello mylotters, I have my insomnia nights again and I've been thinking of improving my cooking skills. We've gone to a Korean restaurant and I have tasted Kimbap. And it was really delicious. So, during my insomnia nights, I've researched about that food and it seems very easy to make (I hope so, for me)...and I am planning to make one with the help of my sister on my mother's birthday. It's foreign for me but I would want to try to make one just to learn some other kind of food. Do you have any interest in cooking a foreign food? Have you tasted Kimbap? How well do you like it? Happy Mylotting...^^ _Joanna Lee_

I don`t know much about korean food and I have never tasted Kimbap. But I love to eat and cook foreign food. A few years ago I had a shoulder problem and stayed at home for a great part of a Summer. During that time, I saw a TV progrsam where they taught how to make sushi. I worked at it until I mastered it

Sushi is also similar to kimbap. I am fond of watching cooking shows as well.... If only I have the ingredients right, I would have make something in the kitchen rather than be in front of my laptop....^^ Have a great day!

I will have to check that online. Internet has been very helpful as an online cookbook.
