I just heard on the news that the Supreme Court has upheld the so called "Obamacare Health Care Reform". I do not know all the parts of the healthcare reform act but I do find it uplifting that finally one of our Presidents has finally made good on their platform to reform the health care insurance we now have. Granted not all parts are going to be easy to understand or even be accepted by all but at least it is a step forward towards coverage for all. Those in Congress and those running against the President will try to persuade us into thinking this is not a good reform and try to repeal it in order to gain votes but lets think for a moment the one provision that is in there is that the insurance companies are no longer going to deny coverage for those like myself with a pre-existing illness. When it comes to having coverage and a fair insurance for all it is about time that we stand together and work towards what is best for the people and not what is best for those insurance companies to continue to reap record breaking profits with no regard to those they are to care for.
