Ivanovic beat Dondarenko in the second round today at Wimbldon. It was the first she has beaten her and gave Ivanovic some revenge for when she lost to Bondarenko at the U.S. Open several years ago. Even with the time difference, I got to watch most of the match on the Internet this morning. It was a tougher match than I would have preferred but she did win in two sets 6-3, 7-6(3). Ivanovic needs to improve her consistency which has been her problem for some time now.

Ivanovic is a great player. But lately she is going in and out of form. But the kind of play she has shown in this wimbledon, i think she has come prepared. She can reach the finals or at least the semis. But she have to struggle a lot to reach there because there are a lot of emerging and good players in women's singles. So hope she gets going.

it seems that you are an avid fan of ana ivanovic. it is good to see her back in her old form. after her rise to the top, she declined and slid down the ranking. well, she is still young and can do many things in the tennis court. many guys admire and like her. at least there is an alternative to sharapova.
