The story of Corazon who became the first "aswang".. She was just a woman who wanted a child since they never had one after 5 years of marriage. Someone told her to pray to a saint and she did and devoted so much that she conceived, but the child was born dead. After that she vowed to forget God and never let another baby live in her town.. So she started killing kids.. It was quite sad, since i feel for her. Even my parents waited 7 years to have me.. I really feel for those who really gnat to have a child but aren't give one, while others try to abort theirs and give it away.

Those are settings in some quite remote provinces, although the plot have made them to be very judgemental people, the movie showed negative impacts but it was needed in the scene, i pity corazon, she is not to be blame for was has happened to her due to hardships and hurtings she encountered. and i pity those people too who had to judge corazon that way.

Even if it just a story, she should not kill other people child just because she can't have one. I know that she really want to have her own baby, but the way she blame the god is not correct. For those who don't have a child they still can use other alternatives as there not just one way to achieve it.(^^)

Well, what she did was indeed bad.. But i do not think everything was her fault. The towns people also made her do it.. since they were even more horrible than her. Hurting others just because they looked crazy..
It was the 50s, not so much alternatives there, and they lived in a farm..

i watched this movie on the internet. there was this free pinoy movies online and the copy was really good, huh! :D my mom like erich so we opted to see what this movie has for us. I am not disappointed with the movie. It was not really scary, there are quite less scenes that'll let you jump off your seat. the truth was that the movie is more like a love story and with a little suspense. the reality of the movie was quite intriguing and it tells us that love is really beyond all. When two people love each other, no matter what happens, no matter what the other has done, love will understand and love will definitely be triumphant. I think the story is really worth watching. it would give you hope and would rather give you the idea that everyone's faith is being tested, not only me, nor you... but everyone and if we have someone that is to be our partner and will never leave us.. then we can be successful if we just hold on to God himself.

I saw that movie too. It was scary and yes thats true there some really waited how many years just to have one child at least. And yes there some who easily abort or give or leave thier child anywhere.
Its a very light and scary movie but it was a good one.
