Like or share if you love Jesus..Chain messages really annoy me, even those related to God.. Since sharing it doesn't even mean one really loves Jesus.. They should just write nice quotes about him and let it be up to the person to share it or not..

oh i don't like that too. they are actually after the likes and number of shares for their own benefit. it's not really about God anymore and it's sad because they are using Him

Yeah, i think they are not wanting to spread this just because they want to share about God, but they want to make profit, and they are using God's name since many people would feel obliged to do it.

hmm i take no offense in such posts but if i do not like these post, i would just neglect them and actually i have turned off any notifications in facebook that i am not receiving them hence no posts to worry me or cause me to be annoyed. hehe

Oh, you turned of all the notifications? What do you mean? You don't get emails from facebook or the red alert on top is just gone too?How do you do that?

Absolutely, I agree. I receive several messages of this type from cousins and friends. Earlier I used to forward such messages after editing the "continue this chain" and "otherwise bad luck will follow you for next couple of years" lines. But now I don't forward such messages at all.

I don't d those at all though, since i rarely believe in bad luck. I believe more in karma.. what you get is the result of the things you have done before.. good or bad. Nothing bad happened anyway, even if i do not hare those.

Yeah right! I also believe nothing bad happens if we don't share such messages.

Yeah. I don't like especially those chain messages threatening you to pass this message to others and etc. It was evident in text message and now it has reached facebook.

yeah, people always love sending chain messages.. Some of my friends were scared of them- some of them said bad luck or monsters would come if they don't pass it. it's hard to stop this, unless people get smart and not believe it.

I hate "share this if you like Jesus/your mom/disagree with domestic violence/violance towards animals" etc. things. It makes peeople deliberately feel bad if they don't wanna share it for proper reasons (like I don't want to spam or flood other people's pages). Also, some of them are really forced and even cheesy.

I agree with you, plus, doing deeds like this should come from the heart and not forced by some facebook post.

Yes, i agree with both of you. it's like a threat or something.. and some people are just forced to do it..it only means something if the person really wanted to share or like it wholeheartedly.

I do agree with you, most of it sounds like you have to really share it, more like commanding you to do it rather than on your own will.

Yeah, it is more like a command or a threat.. I don't even like it if people i know command me to do some stuff, what more if they are just people online. They should stop putting messages like that.

mostly found those kind of messages on sms. He/she send the messages "if you love your mother, send this to 15 friends" or "send this to 10 friends, if you got minimum 5 messages back means you are loved". hmmmm... how annoying!!

yes, chain messages are annoying, especially those that add a threatening line at the end.. like a ghost will cm, someone will die.. Some people actually believe them so they still pass it on.

I totally agree with you, it's not something you just say that, "I will share this because if I will scroll down, I love the devil" or something. Somehow, it is lick a chain message that if you don't share it you will be evil in some sort. That's why I never did like, share those kinds of photos. Your just being dragged into the long chain that it started with.

I also don't like such conditional statements. While professing one's religious beliefs is fine, I think it's up to people to freely express themselves and not do something just for the heck of doing it or just to respond to a post.

Yeah, it is definitely up to the person if he or she wants to spread the word too.. I don't thin even God would approve of this. He won't force anyone to do something they do not like, He did give us free will.

Yahh, these kind of posts or messages in social media really irritate me. The bible says that don't use the name of God in unnecessary and bad things. And i consider these as such. They are just making fun out of one's emotion in relation to belief.

Yeah, they are kind of using God's name to make money or something.. I am sue God isn't that happy with this too. I just hope the people who do start this, have goals like, to share god's love and not just make a chain message.

Hi friend, you are right, this kind of chain messages don't have any meaning and irritate and annoy the readers, if they share some good stories about Jesus as well as share some of his quotes, surely people will forward it and follow Jesus

i agree with you -- how many times i encountered that, it's crazy! Loving Jesus is a very personal conviction and you don't need to show it so that everybody would know. I love those individual who make Jesus to be known by telling people bout' what's His done for us , like how He loves us so much rather than telling people that you like Him, lol

Yes, i love your response. I think it is better to show how much we love Jesus by showing it in our deeds and sharing it to our friends and not forcing them to share it to others..

yes this type of sharing and message are fully fake... this make only profit to operators .... i think this type of message and chain messages published by the operator to waste users messages and increase earning ....

Oh, i didn't know they made profit at all.. Now they use God to make profit.. although it is a good thing to share His word and all.. And most of my friends share it too, almost every day.

I'm pretty annoyed by messages like that too! They're just spam, and they're not really sharing anything from the heart. I think Jesus would be more appreciative if people got away from their computers and went out to share their real testimony to real people face to face. I've deleted my facebook but I still see messages like this all the time on other sites, and it really makes me roll my eyes.

The chain messages like this, I always got them from my friends especially during the friendster season. They used to write it as the last sentence and hoping we will forward and share it with other people. Sometimes I will forward the messages sometimes I won't. These days, in facebook, I don't get such anymore as they just write it in their wall.(^^)

I think the best way to show our love to God and Jesus is only to do charity and help everyone that stumble in our way, anything will do like to stop near and smile to an elderly person that is just there standing in the grocery shopping looking tired but maybe is sick and needing out help, to feed dogs in the streets when we have dinner leftovers, to give one hour weekly in a charity place, helping the sick, the kids, the elderly, the animals or those our heart feels sorry for. In no way going to some place, reading the bible or just talking about God and Jesus I'm sure could please them, I'm sure they want us to love each other like brothers. People that just keep talking but are homophobic, gossip or are intolerant just have God and Jesus in their tongue, but not in their heart. It's so easy to just talk.

Agree. I also get really annoyed by the posts that say "share if you love your mom/dad". I love my mom and dad. Without sharing those things everybody knows I love my parents. And just like you said, sharing it doesn't mean someone really loves their moms or dads and on the other hands, doesn't sharing it doesn't mean you don't love them, right? And also there are new posts that I saw yesterday (I don't know how long it has been around, I just knew it so I said it's new. Lol). It says "share this four-leaf clover and get your luck". What IF I did share it and nothing happens? Should I blame anyone??
