Job experience VS, The Competition

So, some of us if not most of us have been to a job interview where there were a few if not several people interviewing for the same job. Most are from the younger generation and some are OLD SCHOOL. Depending on what the job qualifications are, sometimes I have seen in my recent job interview experience, it doesn't matter. AGE is what people are looking most at. I have alot of experience in one area of the workforce, about 20 years to be exact, and for some reason, the TODAY crowd seems to override any kind of experience I have. They want YOUNGER generations. Yes, I also have been to college and I am also a high school graduate. But, I am beginning to think that I may be OVER qualified, and yes that does happen, and to many times I'm sorry to say. It's very frustrating to say the least, and as much as I want to say "Now look here buddy, I can work CIRCLES around those kids!". I know that wouldn't go very far as far as getting the position. But, I guess all I can do is just bite my lip, be polite, Thank them for the opportunity to let me interview, and step on to the next one. Anyone else had this happening to them?
