process involved in making a youtube video

Well without you saying what you want to make a video of exactly I can't really comment on that part. However as for how long it takes to be visible, it can take 2 minutes -2 hours or possibly sometimes longer. The longest I've had to wait for a video conversion and then public viewing is only 1 hr 30-40 minutes to be honest. Just depends on your luck and how busy their servers are in 'converting' the file.

Just simple take a video of your interest and add some special effects to it by using some editing softwares. Then go youtube.com and upload the video and you will be given a link after uploading. It will be visble to the public as soon as you upload the video.

It depends. What is you video about anyway? You take a video first. It doesn't matter what camera you use as long as it's good quality and you can take videos from it. You must choose background first or a location. This is were you're going to shoot your video. After shooting the video. You can edit it through video editing softwares like Windows Media Maker, Sony Vegas, etc. Whether you edit it or not, it's fine. The you upload on Youtube. You must have an account to be able to upload it. How long the uploading takes depends on how long your video is. Sometimes it takes 15 minutes, sometimes 30 minutes. It depends on the length of the video. And after uploading, that's it! You're done.

I'm making videos also, I found a way to make money from it(contact me). Basically you don't need too long video, like 5+ minutes, it should be interesting, unique, about something you like to talk about or about something you know a lot about. Video will be visible the moment it's uploaded. It's easy, but usually not fast, it depend on your upload internet speed.
