Two weeks ago when we came to this place for field immersion as part of our training. We will be staying here for three (3) months and we're only given 6 one-day passes which we will have to use during the 3 month period. I had used my 1st pass already last week so I was not able to go home this weekend. This is the only time that I had felt this so much loneliness. We were just done with our in-house training and here we go again. After the two-month period of being confined inside a training venue, we were assigned to a place which is considerably far from our main station and from our home. Considering the place is so remote. Oh well, part of the training. I hope this thing will be over soon, there are times that I just wanted to ride a bus going home but I had already started so I have to finish this thing.

Yeah. It's all part of the sacrifice for your career and development. I am already here for 2 months and I also miss the people at home. My parents, younger sister, relatives and barkada. Well, I have to be strong and cope up with this homesickness. Be happy.

As long as you have a communication with your family or at home you canprevent homesick. Keep on calling them or communicating with them. At the start, it is really hard to be away from your family, in turn, before you finished your immersion, I am sure that you will miss them onece you got home again. I am sure that you will gain more knowledge from your experiences there.

i get home sick when i am away for a long time too. Can you go on skype and talk to your family and friends? That helps me a lot cause you can see them as you are talking and it makes me feel a lot better and gets me through missing home

Homesickness is our natural reaction because we are used to the company of our family that even a few days is more than enough we felt like this. When I was away from my home province of Cebu and go to Manila to work as well as to finish my schooling was also very eager to go home right away, when I felt homesick after a weeks duration.I just listen to some music or join my other companions is my only remedy not to feel homesick again just to finish my studies.

I think you can decide to ask a companion to go home with you to remove the "loneliness syndrome". You can think of what you derive much pleasure from and get yourself engaged with it so that you will not be homesickness and bored.

Thank you Chikezie for the giving your opinion on this matter. I'm just glad I have myLot with me wherever I go. I am using a stick broadband so I can log in anytime and anywhere. Although the signal is not as strong as from my home place, this would be enough for a while.
