Sims 2--Legacy Challenge

Do you know what this is? It is a challenge created by a guy on the Sims 2 message boards. He has a website www.legacychallenge.com I think that is right. Anyway you have to start with a single sim created from scratch and move then onto a 5x5 lot and not use any cheats (besides stuff like move objects if things get stuck). You can't quit without saving if something bad happens. You can only marry Maxis made townies (the people that wander around the neighborhoods that you can't control) and NPCs (the maids and stuff). The object is to get to the 10th generation on one lot. You can't move people out and back in for money and stuff. There are a lot of rules on his site. I don't really pay too much attention to the details. There is a point system that I don't pay attention to either. If anyone plays a Legacy family how are you doing on it? I had one before my computer crashed. I was on generation 7, I think. But I was playing all the family members--even ones that moved out and were no longer needed for the challenge. It was hard because the 3rd generation heir had 10 kids. A lot of the lots got corrupted too somehow. I haven't really started any good ones since then.

It is a lot of fun and adds a bit of challenge to the game, especially right at the beginning. It can be very addictive, though. This is the first time in over a year that I have played a family that wasn't part of a legacy challenge.

Oh that sounds like fun. Thanks for the link. I'll have to check that out. I'm not sure I can do it without the money cheat, but it definitely sounds like a worthy challenge.
