Be careful with posts atm

Hi guys,
Just thought I'd write a warning since MyLot is being a little slow atm. I've just noticed and think that my user rating may not be correct but only by a few posts. When you post usually it just sits there for ages thinking. Don't refresh and do it again as you will double post. If it is sitting there thinking and you open the discussion again in a new window you will see your post is already there. Since I did that I thought it was OK and closed the window that I made the post on but after a few noticed my rating wasn't moving. Your rating will not go up until that page has gone to the add tags page. From there you can of course add or skip the tags and it's all good.
Not sure if people already knew about this or not but thought I'd share just in case some people were doing what I was. Now I feel stupid :(

I didn't noticed that. Thanks for the information. I was thinking that since it loads really slow and once I closed the window and saw my post is already there ~ everything is good. I didn't know that my rank will not increase (or my post count) on that matter. Anyway, I'll wait until it completely do its thing even if it takes forever.

You're welcome for the info. Another thing that just happened to me that's really annoyng is that I waited and waited for a post to go through and it didn't work, it took me back to the discussion withough my response being there after writing a long reply. So annoying! Yes they will give us quadruple today and tomorrow but if the site is being dodgy what's the point? LOL

Well, I guess since we are getting x4 we need to be so patient...maybe we are not only doing discussions here but also testing the site if it is working or not. At first I thought I can make more discussion or responses than ever before but I guess - not. Hope the site will load faster in hours to come. Hope it doesn't reach the 48 hour mark like this.

I suggest that you stop looking at reputation and ratings and just concetrate on discussing. Then everything else will take care of itself.
Bear in mind also that once all of the glitches are fixed topics concerning them will become redundant and are like to be removed together with the earnings. There are so many other things to discuss surely?

Ah yea, i have not noticed this in my responses.. and thought it was not loading. But then i made a new discussion and it was loading for about 20 minutes. what i did was that now i had to go to my page and see if there was any thing new in my account and there i saw the post still loading in another page... so i thought it is posted but takes time to give the response back about it being successfully posted. so yes, it is always what i am doing so i am checking out the post i have created.

Yeah just thought I'd share my experience just to be sure. I'm now starting to get confused with how many responses I've posted but I'm still having fun :)
Just make sure you keep the window open until it says it's successful just to be sure MyLot acknowledges it :)

Oh you're welcome. I think it might be all sorted out now but during that time where MyLot was going really slow there were a few hiccups where posts weren't registering unless I left the window open for it to go to tagging. But all good now :)
