Eating right is so hard

With all the delicious foods out there, and all the advertising that goes into trying to get you to eat unhealthy, it is so hard to stay on course and eat right. Although this is an important part of life, and an important message to teach our children. Do you have any tips to stay on track? Thanks.

I don't know,staying on track is also my problem , but I am getting into that. Probably by abstinence, abstinence is a good way or eat all foods you want provided with the right amount. Know limitations. That is all I can say.

Yes in some ways, but mostly you have to eat the right kinds of foods and try to stay away from the wrong ones.

actually u are right. it becomes too hard to control you can diet for maximum 1 month but once in while u feel like enjoying food rather than dieting that too to impress others .. eat well just make sure that calorie intake is equivalent to calorie burnt .

You shouldn't do anything to impress others. Yes it is hard to control yourself. And when you treat yourself for doing good, then you get back into the habit.

I don’t really have problem controlling the food I eat, it is because the delicious but not so healthy food is more expensive than healthy food. So I need to think twice before eating delicious but not so healthy food, first eating delicious expensive but not healthy food everyday can make me broke and second eating unhealthy food is not good for our body healthy. So eating healthy food can save me a lot of money and also it has so many benefits for our body. In my country, fast foods are considered as expensive foods . For example we spent $5 for pizza, $3 for fried chicken, but for $2 or less we can get rice + soup + fish + vegetables/salads + chili sauce. I eat fresh fruits and fresh vegetables everyday, if Im too busy to prepare my food I can make easy salads, it is not time consuming, cheap and also healthy. Aside from eathing healthy food, we also need to do exercise to make us stay fresh.

I really hard to eat the right food because lots of delicious food in our surrounding and really hard to control the temptation. I am guilty because before even though that I say I will never eat hamburger, fries, fried chicken, junk foods and soft drinks but still I cant control myself to eat those foods. But know everything has been changed, I am aware the danger of those foods and if I am continue to my old eating habits may heart might get explode without knowning it. Now I am eating the right food even though its really very hard but I am stick on my plan and set my mind for about the right food to eat. My niece lives with me so I am her teacher in eating the right food. Very week we go to the groceries but we dont buy any junk foods and soft drinks instead we only purchased lots of fruits, vegetables and yogurt. Then instead of eating in the fast food restaurant my niece loves to eat homemade food because I involved her in cooking and in preparation of the food. Also as her guardian I told to her the advantage of eating healthy foods and the danger of unhealthy foods, now she is aware about it and practising eating the right food.
