I hate firecrackers

Some kids have been playing with them for a few days now and it really startles me.. Since they are so loud and no warning at all. Especially when i am in my bedroom or in the computer room, since it is right next to where they play with it. 
They could get hurt with those or hurt otehrs.

I am with you..I don't like them at all and wonder what is the purpose of them...to scare someone? I saw my brothers hand get burned severly by one....a cousin and him were putting them under a metal plate and they put so many that the plate raised up...just as my brother was sticking his hand under to see if they were going to go off or not as it was a bit delayed....I could live without them ever again in my life!

I don't really like them either. They scare me. I would not let my kids play with them. They are dangerous and I don't think it is a good idea. My kids are afraid of any fireworks anyway. They hate the loud noise of them.
You can even show them [pictures of injuries caused by them, they are quite gruesome..

Tis the season. I know they can get hurt but hopefully they are being safe with them. They have been around for as long as I can remember and honestly, other than hoping that everyone stays safe (and they usually do), they really don't bother me. I have only known of one or two incidences in all of my 56 yrs here thata someone close to me has gotten hurt. It does happen but honestly, you can get hurt in a car or better yet on a motorcycle and there as well is the risk of hurting others. It happens every year and nothing is going to change it so just brace yourself and pray for everyone's safety and it will be over before you know it.
