My husband loves to play NBA games so I decided to buy him a latest version but the problem is he not talking to me now and he kept on playing and playing. I am very happy that he liked it but little bit sad because he is very busy and not talking to me for a few hours because of the game. Most of the time I just bring his food by his side so that he can able to eat while playing to avoid him from skipping meals. I also remembered when I bought him a new PSP he kept on playing it and he placed near to the bed while sleeping. He is very attached when he received a new gift from me and from his family. He is like a small kids who loves presents and make sure to use it and take care it very well.
How about you my fellow friends? Did you give something to your partner or family members and he keeps on using it every now and then that they almost forget you? How do you feel when you knows that they really love and enjoy playing it? Please share. Thank you.

Maybe since you gave him a gift give him time to play first as long he is already bored and fed up. And then next time don't buy him again so he has more time for you to talk.
Kidding aside I just want to make you smile. Maybe try to tell him what you feel give him time to play and give him time for you to talk. Like what you have said, you don't have to bring him food when it's time to eat. Sometimes it's better to talk while eating in front of each other. Just tell him there is always time for everything.

Same incident happen with my friend's husband he is a very silent men and they dont like to talking so they talk very less with his wife. She shared this problem with me some time she annoyed on him why you not talk with me how is your habit less talking.

Maybe it is the same with DOTA that needs concentration and strategies. After a few hours of playing and knowing how the new game works, he will definitely stop playing and talk to you. After a week or months of playing, definitely he will not enjoy as much as the first time he played the game so just wait and support him.

Actually he asked me too about DOTA but I said no because I know he will be more focus on playing to that video games. I am have a doubt that he will not enjoy the NBA games because he asked me just this morning if NBA 2K13 is already available. Anyway like you said I just need to understanda nd support him because he is good provider and only playing video games was giving him peace of mind from a stressful work. thanks

That also happens to me when watching NBA especially when my fave team is playing, and I dont want any disturbances hehe. Same things when playing psp games too before but I am more bauy in my iphone now. But habit somehow that I am trying to change or minimized.

Oh NBA games he loves that too and I cant even disturb him while watching. Anyway good thing that he only loves video games and basketball not he did not like to go out and hang out with his friends. I think this is better than having a bad hobbies which lead us to unnecessary discussions.
