Link between crime and crazies, and full moon?

we have all heard that when the full moon is out, so are the crazies. Is there any truth to this? The horror movies play this up a lot, it has become a cliche. What are your thoughts on this, do you believe this to be true?

I've heard about this and also believe it, since I experience this kind of hyper-ness during full moon.
They say that full moon has an affect on human / animal behavior. And why shouldn't we believe it, full moon affect the tides, and it isn't that impossible that there is a scientific explanation about the full moon effects on people.
I've read somewhere that they blame it on the moons light, since it's so bright during the night, it kept people up, cause sleep deprivation that could also lead to other psychological condition.
All I can say is... since science still can't point us to an explanation about this, I therefore conclude that the moon is a mystical and powerful source of magic!

hmmm, I guess so. But you know what, in our province since there are all just wide rice field there, and house are not that close together, During the full moon, it's always fun to roam around with friends. I remember when I was still young and my family used to go there during vacation. Me and my other cousins and friends would stay up until 1 am, and just loiter around the fields, one of my cousins would bring his guitar and we would sing the whole night!
