Is expertscolumn becoming a scam

They take a while to process payment, but I really don't think you can call it a scam just yet. If they start cheating their writers they will go out of business because no one would write for them. As far as an account being deleted, they have very strict rules which are meant to ensure their ranking stays high so the writers keep getting good views on their content. If you dont read their policies you run the risk of violating these rules and they will not hesitate to delete you. I'm also waiting on my second payment, so I'll let you know if I receive mine.

I am a member of EC and been paid many times. Like the first mylotter wrote, EC has strict rules and every members must follow to avoid such problem like account deletion. They (EC)don't just delete account without warning or proper advice. I once received a letter from admin telling me refrain using more than one capital letter unless with proper noun when posting titles. So, that proves that they (admin and staffs) are really checking/reading every articles that are submitted by members. One of my ref did not even make it to the new/more strict rules and her account was also deleted. Regarding payment, they usually sent payment on 6th, 11th, 16th, 21ist,26st, 31st of the month...so let's just wait.

Expertcolumn a scam! Oh no, that is a news I wouldn't want to hear. I have some articles there and haven't reach the payout so far but I am close to 4 dollars and so this means few more steps to the payout. Now if expertscolumn would become scam then this means all my effort turned to nothing. I wish it is not and will not be.

I am not into this site,but I heard they have very strict rules for writers there to accomplish good quality of the site.Your friend must have gone against their TOS and there by they have banned him. Please do update regarding your payment issues from them.I have plans to join join.But your claim has got me a suspicious.I hope they don't turn scam like so many other sites out there.Happy mylotting and let us know about your payment there.

No, I a there for some time now and have been getting my pay regularly without any delay as per their schedule. They have certain fixed dates to disburse payments although this is not mentioned any where but i can tell you this by my experience. So there is nothing to worry.

Hi friend, i too requested my payment 3 days before and waiting for it, usually EC will take around a week to pay its members, it is not a scam one. Lot of members using this site, don't worry about it. As you mentioned you got your first payment from them, do you forget about the waiting days? you must wait for around a week to get money from that site

I requested my first 5 dollars from them some 6 days ago but nothing happened then as I checked my payment request status I read it is cancelled/rejected. What does this mean? They did not even give me any word about why? I am totally confused. Has anyone been into this situation with expertscolumn?

Hi Irene, the owner of Expertscolumn will apologize to you if he is late in making payment. Once i had to wait a rather long time for my payment. It was not just five dollars. He sent an email to explain that his was a one-man operation, and he was sick for a few days, and did not access the computer. When he was well, he cleared all the payment request. I do not think Expertscolumn will ban all writers. Some writers probably use different pen name in different sites. They will trigger off the plagiarism checker if they just copy and paste the article. I think others who were banned are probably due to the rewriting of news articles. I have seen a few cases of that. When they rewrite, they just to stick as closely to the original article, and that means they run the risk of plagiarism.

Hi, At first I got scared to read the title of your discussion. I thought something is wrong with the site that I rely on so much. I have got paid by this site many times and the last payment I got was on 21st June. I have never had any issues with payments from them. You need not worry friend as there is a processing time for payments. The FAQs mention: "When shall I be paid? We clear payments on every 5 days gap i.e. on 1st, 6th, 11th, 16th, 21st and 26th of every month. But for the payout to happen it is compulsory that you manually request a payout from us by logging into your account. If you have requested the payment on 17th then it will get cleared by 21st of that month. Similarly payment requested on 5th will get cleared by 6th of that month." I think you can expect your payment by the 6th of this month. I really hope this site lasts forever as I depend on it to earn revenues. However, I cannot fathom why your friend's account got deleted. Apparently the site is very strict about certain guidelines. Was she republishing articles written by her on another site? If so, both the user names should match or else they delete. Another reason could be including some promotional links in any article. I really do not know why they did not give a reason for the deletion. This bit is indeed scary!

But I'm curious about whether do they accept republish of articles since I am writing at wikinut and triond at the same time. Just to make sure of their regulations to prevent account deletion. :)

Experts Column is not a scam. I have been writing for them now for several months. The money shows up in my account consistently and I am satisfied with the earnings. Their site is also easy to navigate and I have never had any problems. You should just ignore all these rumors and get on with the business of writing.
