Comprehensive efforts are being done to make students life stress free. Even curriculum are being changed accordingly. What do you think how student can be stress free in the era of fierce competition?

Well, i think a stress free student life is quite impossible. But of course, this is just my own personal view. I think it can't be stress free because we will always have work and assignment to do and test to take. And most of us as a student likes to procrastinate our tasks till the day before its due. And doing our work than can be stressful. And also, like you said, in this era, there's fierce competition, so no matter how they change the curriculum, students will always be stressed whether by parents, teacher or even themselves, to do better than their competitors.

I don't think it's really possible to completely eliminate stress from the school scene. If school boards are changing the curriculum to reduce stress, I don't think that really would be a good thing. There are some areas that I can think of that would probably benefit from a change, like making sure all the teachers don't assign big huge projects due at the same time, but I wouldn't want the level of academic skill to suffer. I think the best stress relievers for students would be to exercise, eat right, get plenty of sleep, and practice good study habits and time management. Maybe it would be best if this could be taught in school as well. No homework, just practicing what they're learning.

I don't think that student life should be made to be stress free because of the fact that school and college is supposed to be preparing them for the real world, and that is something that is almost certainly not going to be stress free in the slightest. I do think that there is far too much pressure put upon them to do well in exams though, as this has an effect on the school's reputation so that's all that they're really bothered about. Children should be able to get more help if they need it rather than being left to struggle, as this is something that is a huge problem in schools at the moment.

I think it's hard for students not to be stressed while in school. But something that really helps me is... TIME MANAGEMENT! A lot of kids stress themselves out by "cramming" because they can't manage their time well enough to give themselves ENOUGH time to get all of their work done. Say for example, you know that you have a test in 1 week. Instead of studying for a small amount of time every day and getting comfortable with the material that you will be tested on, a lot of kids instead wait until last minute - chug down a few Red Bulls and try to cram in one night instead of spreading it out throughout the week before. Time management is like the #1 skill, in my opinion, that will help you succeed in college. Not that I finished college (I only got through 1 year out of the 4 I need for a bachelors degree), but I will be starting again this fall. (yay!). I also think it's important for kids not to work TOO much. The more time you have open to study & get homework done, probably the better!

I don't think that students will be stress free at all. The things we need to learn become more complicated as the years go by.. Even i want to go back to 30 or 40 years ago ,when learning was still quite simple..

i'm too much stressed right now, given that i'm a graduating student and enrolled in one of the most harsh college courses-ACCOUNTANCY. hehe :D Based from my own experiences, i can only eliminate this stress by having instructors who are not that so strict and at the same time, not too generous that can bring laziness to the students. I also want to disregard all the unnecessary minor subjects and activities because they tend to be more of significance.!!
