I have been one of a few million who have had the rare privilege to see the torch and watch the changing and lighting of the torches.. It was the most memorable time in anyone's life and will only happen once in a lifetime if you are lucky to be in the country as which the torch is paraded.
Have you ever seen the Olympic torch parading through your Country?
How did you feel?

I really enjoy seeing the opening ceremony and being able to experience the diversity of people all in one place, ready to have an awesome time. So few events bring the world together. This post really cheered me up. This is something to look forward to.

Two years ago, the Winter Olympics was around these parts. I was actually visiting the town were the torch was, and I was on the bus when there was a big hoopla as it went by. Traffic stood still and people were generally glad to see the olympic fire passing through their eveyday lives.
I felt it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing to see, and something to experience.
