For those of you who know about Scientology...

I think they beleive in a God like figure, sort of, not entirely sure though. I do know that they dig dirt up on their members and threaten to spread it if they leave. obviously this is not what any high celebrity wants so they do what their told.

I think that Katie had the right to say no to Suri being initiated into that religion. I don't believe that Scientology has a god. It is a shame if the reason Katie and Tom have split up is due to Katie saying no. I think that a child can choose his or her religion when he or she is older. If the lady is one religion and her man is a different religion they should discuss having children. One might not want the child to become that religion of one of their parents. Tom Cruise believes in Scientology and I don't know that Katie Holmes does. Suri is old enough to know what she wants.

I have heard about scientology but I don't really know what's the belief behind it. I heard about the divorce too, but not about that part of the story. That's a sensitive subject about religion and I think that parents should do the best for their children until they are old enough to decide for themselves. On the other hand, the mother probably has her reasons that she doesn't want this to happen. I always had the impression that she is more reasonable than Tom Cruise.
