difference between windows 7 professional and windows 7 ultimate?

Main difference between the two is that ultimate has this new software called bitlocker which will protect your data from being lost or stolen and also it gives you option to work in over 35 languages.This is the official difference.My friends say professional is slower than ultimate.I guess this would be due to bugs in professional which are sure to be fixed in ultimate.
