Robbers Caught

We were robbed a few days ago and some suspected kids were bought in for questioning. Those were the same kids that our canteen personnel pointed out the day we were robbed.
Since we were one of the victims, we expected to be informed about any progress about the case but we only heard about the questioning of the suspects from our neighbors.
I think this is so unfair. Maybe because we lost only a few things they don't consider us as one of the victims. but come to think of it, if my dad didn't wake up in time, the fire could've spread through out the whole school and we could have lost a lot.
Boooo to the policemen and to our local govt.

That's really sad.
That is why we cannot blame other people when they put laws on their hands, due to this system.
Maybe you should keep alert especially from these kids.
Maybe those kids are being protected by some people in higher position that is why they are too brave to do such things- again and again...

it turned out that they were 'brothers' with our brgy captain. they are members of the same fraternity so they should watch each others' backs. They were let go without any charges and we wanted to follow up on it but we learned that the kids were sent to different locations. so it would be no use to pursue it further. We can only hope they change.

It does seem like they would let you know. Is it because they are only suspects and not been charged yet, maybe.

Good point. If they're only charged then the police might not respond to just everything. They will likely let them know when they've thoroughly investigated and made an arrest.

I am glad to hear that the robbers were caught but saddened to hear that you had to hear of this through your neighbor and not through the authorities. How long ago had the robbers been caught? What do you think will happen to them now? Will their age have any baring on how they are treated?
Do you or your father intend to contact the authorities to find out more information about these suspected kids?

they did admit that they were the ones who robbed the schools in this area. they omitted our school though. perhaps because they don't want to be charged with arson.
There were four of them and all were minors so they weren't charged with any case. people around here say that's because the brgy captian belongs to the same fraternity as they do.I think that it's bu**cr*p. I heard that all those kids were sent away to different places so at least there's a bit of peace of mind around here.

Sometimes law enforcement can be very busy with other things. I am sorry your family had to go through this calamity but it sounds like the police have done a nice job to take care of it now. Do not be upset you were not in the loop but instead be happy they have done their job well. Sometimes many are not as lucky as you have been in this situation.
