In China there is already a restaurant where the servers are robots, Making them is much more expensive than hiring a waiter or waitress but in the long term robots provide cheaper labor because they wont ask for salary and they wont get tired, I dont know if we can say this is a good thing a bad thing, for sure this have a long way to go but soon this could be a norm. Robots serving food in restaurants. Th restaurant seem to be popular to kids.

science fiction is becoming true now. part of it excites me,part of its scares me. a side of my mind, is thinking,.... are these robots safe? what if they exploded while serving food to me.

i still prefer the waitresses in hooters, I will not dump them for robots. kids will love them though. another advantage of robots, remember those waiters and waitresses that forces us to buy more.

One time I ate in Hooters, I saw a family who is not aware what that fast food is about, I remember how awkward the mom and little daughter felt the moment they saw the waitresses on their uniforms. the dad seemed to have a good time though. female version of hooters? i will never go to that.

. The idea is fun, but they are automatons for the moment, and I think we expect more from a waiter.
