Battleship

I actually went to see a movie in the theater last week for the first time in ages and it was to see "Battleship", which was loosely based on the board game. The main reason I wanted to see it was because of the amazing cast and I have to admit I wasn't disappointed. I know this movie didn't get the best of reviews, but I don't often agree with the critics anyway; I'm not always sure exactly what they want from a movie but I know I want to be entertained and to more or less "escape" for a couple hours. Did anyone else see this movie? If so, what did you think? I'll be honest, it would have taken a lot for me to not like it since I just LOVE Alexander Skarsgaard (Eric on "True Blood") and Taylor Kitsch (Tim on "Friday Night Lights") and I've long been a fan of Liam Neeson no matter what he's in. Rhianna did a pretty good job, especially since I think it may have been her first acting job. Annie

I didn't know much about the people acting on that movie, except of course the great Liam Neeson, I didn't even know it was Rhianna if my brother didn't tell me. I don't usually watch movies for the actors and actresses but for the story itself. I found the movie greatly entertaining and I think they all did a great job there. I think each personality fit each other well and I think that the writer of the story did a great job as well. I actually liked the movie. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

I wouldn't have known it was Rhianna either if I hadn't read that she was in it! I tend to go either way when deciding what movies to watch. If there are actors I really like in it I'll want to see it even if the story isn't something that would automatically appeal to me while if the story is intriguing I don't care if I've never heard of any of the stars.
