Hello bjc66bjc The storm sounds like it was very bad and that many people are still suffering well after its passing. Mrs. Turner and I have friends in Virginia and they only just got back their power yesterday afternoon. I cannot imagine how they were able to endure the heat in that situation. I hope that you and your family are safe and well. Peace

We are from southern Georgia and are used to broiling horrid heat almost year round. About three months ago we moved to the Minnesota and we have found the weather delightful. Up until a week ago, we thought it amusing that the people here thought that temperatures of 85 degrees was hot. But this past week it has, indeed, been very hot here. Yesterday the weather turned cool again (to us) as it was just in the mid 80's. I really feel for the people who are in the heat with little, or no, means to get cool. I imagine that there will be a lot of heat related deaths this summer, especially for the elderly.

There are people still without power it's a sad thing. But I say this should open the eyes of people and make them see the power of God and how quickly he move. People need to realize that nothing is forever all things we have is a loan to us. And it can be taken away for so quickly.
