I just learned that Robbie Williams quit the performance in the Opening Ceremony in London Olympics because his wife is due to give birth at that time. And this is their first baby. I respect Robbie Williams's decision. Although the Olympic performance is important, but family always goes first

I can only respect him. The Olympics performance is a really important thing for the country, and I kind of believe in standing up for your country. BUT. There are more important things than that, and that is your family, for example, among others. It's just natural that he chooses his wife and his newborn kid instead of that gig.

Respect to him for doing this. The Olympics are a big deal indeed but not as big as his wife having their first baby :) It really shows what kind of man he is too and his character :)
