The first day I go to my office, I really don't know what to say with them. What do you usually do when you first go to work? Please share.

Hi friend, you can just be polite and friendly when you are new in a working environment. I would say it's important to leave an important impression for everyone in the office. Sooner or later, you will find that many of them will come to talk or have conversation with you, then you will be able to mix around with them. Don't worry, smile and be happy.

When I joined my first day to office, it was a good day for me as it was the companies annual day. So we had a party in the evening. So I got a chance to interact with different people from the work place. Also our team size is small so interaction becomes easy. I enjoyed my first day in office.

Not the same as you, I don't really like my first day to work. Because that I don't know how to start a conversation with them, and they are too busy to talk with me, otherwise I have nothing to do.

Hmmm well maybe for one you could make small talks, like saying hi and hello first...then you will say how long they were here..and it all starts from there, or if you saw something you like, like her bag or something you could say nice bag.. and starts from there..

Er, it is really a good begainning from the bag or something of them. It is easier than anyother methods to start a talk with my new co-workers. Thank you for your advise, I will try.

Well the first day I started working at my job, I already knew everyone working there! But if I didn't know anyone I would just be myself, polite, and respectful. Another thing with offices, never talk about anyone unless you want them to find out from someone else. lol... Where I work there is all kinds of drama between the girls. So I just sit back listen and not say a word of anything to anyone! Thank godness for the maternity leave break... I still have 9 months left before I have to return to the office. :)

You are so lucky. In the office, the ladies always like talking about clothes, breakup, emotion, so when they talk about this I will speak out my opinions.Then we have the common subject.
