Good eve everyone. Just got home from work. Last night while my dad was about to sleep, as he enter the bedroom he saw a dog inside. We don't have a per dog because of the kids so we are all surprise where did the dog came from. My dad take away the dog but ran in the other room. The dog is so thin and look so weak. My mom gave the dog some food outside the house. We dont know if one of our neighbors own the dog. This morning, the dog was still in the backyard of our house. And as of the moment it was still there and laying in the rag. My mom keep on feeding the dog and keep wondering who own the dog. I said just let the dog there until the owner look for it, maybe it is one of our neighbor.

This is great to hear, kimtienthao2809! I like this custom of a strange dog coming to a house bringing luck for the house! I think that for me, part of this luck would be having a new friend who is the dog!!

I think the owners of that dog had already let him go and doesn't like the dog anymore. If no one looked for it then I hope you can just adopt the dog. =)

We still look forward for the owner to look for it, maybe one of our neighbor. We really don't know what really happened for the dog to go out in their home.but for the meantime, the dog could stay in the backyard, not allowed to enter the house cause our kitten might get scared.

I don't think any owner would be that heartless who would let his dog go like this, this must be that the dog did not like the behavior of his owner and left the place.

Wow, I wonder which person that lives in the house is the one that let the dog into the house. I know that if we were talking about a situation like that with my house, it would be my daughter that would have been the one that let the dog into the house. The reason that I say that is because my daughter is a person that is very sympathetic to animals and because of that she will take in every stray that she finds. It is also because of her that we have all of the pets that we have now.

Kids like to go near the dog but my dad don't let it to avoid unnecessary things that might happen.Just want kids to be safe the fact that we don't know the dog yet the fact that the dog looks nice and behave.

I think this dog is either not happy with his present owner or is a stray because no good owner would let his dog become thin and weak, so what I feel you should take good care of this dog, that may turn to be a good friend for you because dogs never forget people who treat them well.

We don't know, I could be yes, it could no. Indeed, dogs really know and remember people's treatment to them. As of the moment, the dog is still in our backyard.

Hello ardoy0731 It is good of your mother to take pity on this poor creature and provide him with good food. I don't blame him for not wanting to leave your home as he feels that you are good people. How is the dog now? Peace

Does it have a collar or not? If he has a collar he might belong to your neighbor. If he does not then he might be a stray dog. If you continue to feed him, I doubt that the dog will leave your house. It might leave temporarily but I am quite sure that it will return to your house because he would want to be fed again. In our house, there are three cats that constantly stay in our house. They are not our pets but since the maid feeds them, they always return to our house. One kitty even had her kittens on our backyard!

Sounds like maybe you found yourself a new pet?? When I was younger, that's how I got pets...strays. I now live in a place where I can't have pets and I wouldn't anyway as I don't have the time to be fair to them. If you are not able to care for him, you should take him to the humane society where they can try to find his howner or at leasat a good home for him. If he has tags on his collar then the police can track the owner.

It don't have any collar or tag at all. Maybe a new found pet indeed and if my mom will allow it due to kids in the house. We are still looking forward for the owner to look for it but still we let the dog stay in the backyard.

Surly no one would allow their pet dog to be in such poor condition? I think you have a stray and since it ended up in your home you might think of the message this dog brings, maybe it's time for your family to have a new dog member? Blessings.

we used to have dogs before and really like them to be pets. Due to kids staying in the house, dog are quite avoided and not allowed. In case of that dog that seems to be nice and behave, for the meantime it can stay in our backyard but not allowed to enter the house for now.

If your mother continues to feed the skinny dog, he will never leave your backyard. Even if his owner is found and he is taken away to his former home, he will find a way to escape and come back to your place, where he was well treated. A dog never forgets who treated him nice.

If it is so skinny it could be a stray dog. But I do find it pretty funny that you just walked in and there was the dog out of nowhere. That would have been very strange to see this dog in teh bedroom though :D It's nice that your mum is feeding the dog but the stray may now never leave. Could be a sign to keep the dog but for him/her to remain outside away from the kids? :)
