soul mates

I do believe in soul mates, and I think that some people are very lucky if they manage to meet the person who they were always destined to be with. However, I think that a lot of us settle for second best because it is almost as good, but will never be the kind of feeling that we would get if it were a soul mate as such. I think too many of us stop looking when we are in a relationship with somebody, because we have come to the conclusion that if we are with somebody there is nobody else who could possibly be better for us out there.

i really don't understand the meaning of soul mates, but if you will call partners(husband/wife) with almost 80 percent and above compatibility in every way, then i can say that my wife is my soul mate,...
