Hello Lotters,
This is horrible! Is it me or was she afraid because there's lack of doctors or middle mom or something? this person is out of her mind.
Of course, Later in the reports, she kinda panic and feared people will be mad of her pregnancy. so she try to do her own ABORTION thing but cutting her own tummy and killing the baby.
wow, 
she's tough, considering she didn't even use anaesthesia. but still that was wrong. they're gonna send help for this women...

it reminds me of the scene from prometheus where noomi rapace's character does the same...creepy- although women are so strong that nothing they do surprises me- they can do pretty much everything. Although it was wrong of her to try to take her unborn baby's life.

oops...i was under the impression that everyone knew about it...it was extensively covered in nymag and nytimes. Also the movie is like 4 months old.

That's so horrible and disgusting. The woman is not afraid of the knife but she is afraid of the Doctor who might can help her to her current situation. That's an odd. But we can't insist what we would like to happen for others if their mind is closed. I hope the woman is now in good hand and still alive as well as for the baby.

Hello Syoti, Maybe she really did want to abort the baby or else Hospital could have embarassed her as she feared from her own family and relatives.unfortunately, they will give her professional help and file a case against her for killing her own baby.too bad she lived because she will answer to that crime of hers.

Yeah. I have to agree....this person is really crazy! Just imagine slicing your tummy without anesthesia! Can you handle the pain? I really can't....

Hello aabuda, i don't know, no sane person can do something like that unless she got no one else to help her with.NO ONE can my friend most specially for guy, it needs a lot of procedures to make a caesarian operation work. no sane human with out medication that can handle that pain, you may be tough but you obviously won't avoid screaming

I knew that happening before media knew it.My friend firstly Pm that to me because she was so flabbergasted by that event. She was brought to their institution so she told me about that patient. I was surprised too. We think that the patient was out of her mind.

Geez!!! 
That was shocking and unthinkable, being able to cut her own tummy. It's not something creepy crawling inside her tummy! I just't could not imagine how she did it, but definitely she's mentally unstable. Yes, she needs help. Still can't believe this, sad and scary thinking those weird things people do nowadays.

Hello corrycrystal, it's sad and unbelievable that we had to experience this kind of dilemna if we are sane. but not this women, she was desperate for it and she got caught. when you want something and other's don't want it for you, they will do what ever it takes to get over it most specially if you can't fight for it. very sad

A very disturbing story I must say. Maybe she really was mentally ill, or under alot of stress/pressure. Things that people do today really are disturbing or maybe I'm just missing out.
Nevertheless, I am happy that the responsible groups in the government are acting on this matter.

Hello Davaome, yeah, something that you don't hear almost every day of your life. but that's how life as it is my friend for some poor people out there who doesn't want to be able to make decisions for themselves. am glad they are groups that handles this kind of situation, hope they get this women some professional help.

I don't see it as someone "tough" or "strong". I see it as a person with mental illness. For someone to be able to slice themselves up, it should mean that there's something going on with the mind that's beyond normal thinking. She didn't do it for survival, it was out of something else.
Was the baby aborted?

That is a very wrong thing to do. I don't think that abortion is a good thing to do personally, but I would politically never wish for it to be illegal for this very reason. People are always going to try to find a way around it and they could hurt themselves or do a halfway job of it and end up giving birth to a baby with a deformity that could have been prevented if it would have just been done right in the first place. It's a sad world we live in.
