My skin looks yellow, but not in every light

I wonder if I am getting some liver damage from the Neurontin I take? My last labs were good, so I don't really think there is anything wrong. It's just that sometimes my skin looks yellow. In my room my skin looks yellow, but not so much in the living room. I checked my eyes and they are normal looking. The doctor upped it to 300 mg twice daily. I was on 1 mg each night, and then he upped it to twice daily at the same dose, and then upped it to 300. I have stopped taking the morning dose and just taking the evening dose. So far the nerve pain is staying away. I think it can cause jaundice. I looked it up once and I saw it, I think. I checked my eyes and they are clear but my skin looks flushed and yellow at the same time. I can’t stop the Neurontin because the terrible nerve pain will come back. Have you ever had a side effect that affected your organs? If so, please explain if you will.

i have never had a medication so far affect any of my organs, but that is why i have to do blood work ever so often, and i hate it .. but it has to be done to make sure the medication im taking has not done any damage to my liver, as she stated that it can cause liver damage... so far i have been lucky and me and my liver are fine :) but as bad as i hate giving blood, i would rather do it and know im ok... take care

Yellow skin can be a symptom of hepatitis.
