When do you know when to stop eating?

J have gained almost 20 pounds in college. Yep.. That's right. Before my friends kept saying that I was skinny and thin. Now, they keep teasing me because of my fat arms and legs. I really love food and those all you can eat restaurants! So, I was just wondering that should I stop this habit and start dieting? When do you know when to stop?

When my pants are too tight and cant fit anymore I start to diet but not stop eating, I just try to limit my food intake and choose the food for me. Eat all you restaurants are very tempting because of lots of delicious foods that you can eat in a single restaurant but you can still visit it, just to make sure to choose the right food and the proper amount of food. Better to go on fresh fruits and steam foods than eating fatty foods.

I stop eating when i feel that i'm a little bit full.The thing is that if you keep eating and then stop when you feel the fullest,then you must eat very much.lol.Do not hear what other people say about you.Be yourself and make yourself comfortable.Good luck.

Just eat what is right and needed not what you want.Sometimes we tend to eat to much even though we are already full just to satisfy what we want.Just eat right and not too much.Put a little exercise too.

Well one of the benefits of bulking (weight gain for the purpose of shaping and adding muscle to your body) is that I don't have to stop eating anything! I just try to choose my food carefully and if I eat unhealthy or fattening foods, I try to do some cardio so that I can alleviate some of the bloating I feel. I don't know if it really bloating, but I feel fat and nasty when I eat too many fried foods so I try to take walks or something to burn excess calories. Diets are boring and this is why I just practically eat whatever! I haven't gained much weight yet but I've become stronger!

Hi dell, I have also felt the feeling of eating too much fatty foods. It is a really disgusting feeling. That is why I avoid eating too many fried foods. What my mistake is, i dont usually exercise :( So I really need to add exercise in my habit. Thanks for the response.
