I know it's very unhealthy. Although, many manufacturers claim they made ones with zero transfat...could it be only marketing? I wonder if the food authority is really checking on the validity of the claims. Nevertheless, I was just into these junks. It's a habit that I couldn't easily resist. But, am proud to say that I am more controlled now than a couple of years ago. I used to have a huge box of a variety of chips and other nibbles. Which is why I was chubby back then. You can definitely see the difference from how much weight I lost after withdrawing from these irresistible snacks. (Take a peep at my photos viewable in my profile.) Indeed, they're big contributors to the pounds gained around the mid section, hip, buttocks and thighs! And, believe me, they're hard to get rid of. Am glad am over that addiction. *whew* I still crave every now and then. But, since I stopped storing bags of chips, I am now restrained from grabbing one whenever I feel the urge of nibbling. hihi

Of all the junkfood in the world - including chips. I don't really like Cheetos. I think they're over-priced, too salty and too much food coloring. Hehehe.. I'm not trying to take the 'fun' out, but I just don't like it. Oh, let me rephrase, I don't like the taste and I think it's over-priced.
Of course, nothing beats the over-priced Lays that's full of air. hahahaha..
However, regardless the price, I still don't like Cheetos. Well, I would eat it if I'm given one, but it doesn't really give me anything but salt. It's my brother's favorite and he loves them to bits. He likes the cheezy Cheetos and I'm tormented while eating them because of the cheese deposits that are left on my fingers. Whew!
I'm sorry, it's just not my favorite.
Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

hahaha... it's so cute how you expressed your dislike to it! I know what you mean. And everything you say, I couldn't agree more. I guess, it's just preference. I dunno about over priced as Lays and Doritos are more pricey.
Well, if you check the label, they gave instruction that the healthy amount of it is about 13 sticks per day(?). So, you can actually forget about how salty it is if you keep within the suggested consumption. *wink*
About the deposits that almost can glue your thumb and index fingers together are warning signs that you've already consumed more than the maximum. *wink wink*
I agree that Lays is nothing but a bag of air...literally! Like when you open a bag, you'd have to dig down inside the bag just to have a look at the fried (or oven-baked?) potatoes. I like only the original and the sour and cream one.
Some other chips I every now and then crave... Granny Goose Tortillos, Mr Chips, Pringles, Tortilla chips...
You remind me of a friend who also despise Cheetos for its price. hahaha But, he gets to eat a lot when offered some. LOL

Yeah! I will not say "NO" to it, but I would still complain otherwise! hahahahaha..
True, though Doritos is pricier compared to Lays, but at least it doesn't feel like they're cheating you with air. Don't get me wrong, I like lays most especially for dips but why do they have to fill it in huge bags with air? Can't they just be real and put them in bags that fit?
hehehe... Yeah right! And you can eat ONLY 13 sticks..

YOu're honest and frank. hahaha
I know what you mean? I ask the same question, too, with most chips (not only Lays). Am not sure if "spaces" have anything to do with crispiness or retaining quality.
...the trick of offering you a huge bag then tell you to eat only 13 is kinda challenging! We can also add that as a complain. Just place them in a nice small bag then include only 13. hahaha

I know. I love them, too. I give them to myself as a little treat like once a month or more rarely, due to that they are really expensive and unhealthy, but I love them. I love onion and cream flavour and cheese flavour the most, or original, and I LOVE my nachos!

Don't mind so much about anything being unhealthy and pricey if you're in control of how much you take in. Like in your case. Once a month or once in a blue moon as a treat. That's not bad, at all. Let's keep loving a once-in-a-while bag of costly, unhealthy Cheetos! Then, drink lotsa pineapple juice or cranberry juice to flush the toxins! hahaha

i am going to say good for u on resisting such temptations! i cut down alot on dr pepper and junk food and sweets! i dont even have dibetes. i should but i have learned how to balance everything out by eating more fruits and veggies and i can still eat a little less than what i would normally eat :)
i used to love doritos and i still do but cheetos is still in my top 10. as far as candies i dont know which i like more. dove, m&m's,butterfinger, or those round chocolate with nuts spritzzeled and dipped in chocolate. i forgot the name but it sooooo sooooo good to eat but a little pricey for a pack of three. they are these little round chocolate goodness with some kind of nut inside...anyways i need to take a peek at ur pic's
this is the devil u talking lol...go ahead take a nibble hehe!

Oh, I didn't really mean it when I said, "go and check my profile"...but, if you REALLY wanna see the then and the now...lemme guide you through more proof. hihi
I was also amazed that I just woke up one day disinterested in the chips stored in this smaller pink box on top of a bigger (huge) pink box which also contained more goodies. Couldn't believe it myself. It took sometime before they were consumed.
Am not into sweets. For whatever reason! They hurt my throat, make me feel dizzy, like floating... What sweet nibbles can I tolerate?...hmmm Pretzels! Knick Knacks is already too sweet for me. Just thinking about it makes me wanna puke. *_*
Yeah, I started appreciating fruits later on. Just a few, though. I don't like sour. So, I go for watermelon, melon, banana, papaya and at times, I can put up with pineapple. But, only the processed one in can. hihi
There are times I'd crave for cakes. But, normally, one small bite is enough. I have this childlike attitude when I see people eating something even if I don't really like it, I'd really grab some. Like ice cream. hahaha... Reminds me of my sister... she'd get scoops for me in a cup. Hands me a cup full. I'll take it, of course, then after a spoon, I'll give it back to her. hahaha
