If I should work in the different city with my family.

I have graduated from the college for three years and now working and living in a city which is about 1500km away from my family. As I still haven't the boyfriend and can only stay with my family for several days per year, my parents require me to give up the current job and come back with them as soon as possible. I think I should pursue my business and dream when I am young, but I also miss my parents and worry about thier health as they are becoming old day after day. I feel so entangled with this problem and start to doubt if my original decision is right.

Hi Amyqiuxiao ! Where are you living now ? Beijing or a other city ? I had a good friend at Beijing too, he comes from Hunan. With your trouble, I think you should find a job near your place to take care your parents, Im vietnamese and I think we have the same thinking about our family ! Have a good day !

Thanks so much for your suggestion. Now I'm living in Jinan city, shandong province. Actually I found your head photo looks so familiar to me, it's so like the Fuzi temple in Nanjing. Sorry I don't know if it is, I just think it's a very nice picture.

Well, there is nothing wrong with your decision. Everyone has his own dream and it is very normal that you want to chase after it. Even though you are very far from your parents, you can still call them from time to time to ask for their health condition etc.

Yes, I always give the call to them and try my best to take care of their feeling, but maybe they just want to live with me and actully it's very normal and usual in China.

Ok, I see the problem now. Sorry did not pay much attention to your name. I am a chinese too and I sure agree with you. Well, if you really can't give up your hope, then at least you can go back once a while during some special occasions such as chinese new year, mooncake festival and so on. Hope that will work out for you and your family.
