To all those who are knowledgeable with the bible, or with their faith.. Can you help with this? According to the what i have learned all are born sinners... right? So therefore it was said that even babies newly born have alreeady committed a sin - or was born with a sin on their hands... so here are some thoughts that i have in mind that has kept me thinking about in relation to the subject: 1. If a baby supposedly has died - he/she dies a sinner... it is rather unfair that he was unable to repent as the child is still a baby that is unable to even think for itself... so what happens to them? 2. If a baby is born with a sin.. then what happens, or what sense did it make that Jesus himself took all the sins and paid it for with his blood and life? would anyone of you have some clarification or know of something related to this? thank you in advance! =)

I've asked that same question before when I was still a practicing Christian. I think there's a verse in the Bible (somewhere in Deuteronomy) that indicates that babies will still enter heaven because they have no knowledge of good and evil yet. And I believe there are also verses in different books in the Bible that says the same thing.

All of us are born with a sin nature. However, until one comes to an understanding that what he/she is doing is a sin, that person is innocent. Babies are innocent. Until Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they were innocent. There's a verse in the biblical book of James that says: "Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins." - James 4:17. You see the qualifying word is know.

Thank you precious for sharing this, similar to the previous post it was stated that those who were not given the chance to know about the truth about God, they are not damned. of course... he he what was i thinking. I was no bible scholar and i am not familiar with most of the teachings. i have yet to read and confirm everything.. but thank you so much for what you have shared with us.

according to the Bible, everyone is born with sin (yes, even babies) but God grants special grace to babies who have not understood the way of salvation the Jesus Christ's saving blood. these babies would go to heaven.

thank you so much cher for your participation in the discussion. Yes, Saving grace of God and only God is able to provide this that all of us who are sinners, if we choose to come to God - no matter how grave we have done we can still and will be saved by god's loving arms if we are only sincere and accepts him fully in our lives. Everyone can be saved, and we all have our choices.

I guess it is about right! Since all are sinners, then it should include baby too. Well, according to the thelogical explanation, everyone carry sin inside him/her since birth, some accumulate more sins during the stage of growth by committing sinful act stated in the bible. The more sins you have at the day of judgement, the more likely you will get a free pass into fiery hades with everlasting torment on your spirit and the lesser probability ascend into paradise created by God for those that repent and has cleansed his/her sin by the acceptance of Jesus Christ. That is all you need to know for now, more will be told if you are interested next time.

hi there lampar... Oh yes i would be interested to talk more of the topic and everything that is eelated. You talked about the accumulation of sins as we go through our lives. it is similar to what thesids has mentioned tat itis more likely that sins committed are our choice and only passed on to us when we were born.

As the saying go in the holy scripture, all fall short of the Glory of God except these little one. They do inherit sins with them coming into this world, but that don't prevent them from receiving the glory and grace of God by no fault of their own.

the world will pravidni if some people say that nikago not wrong it's just not true. Everyone is wrong sometimes whether he wants it or not. but I think every newborn child is innocent because he knows no sin. Perhaps you mean that it is wrong simply because it pipapt wrong hands. However, everything in life today is wrong. interesting topic.

Hi chiyosan, This topic made me think too. Well, in my own opinion. I think the new born babies are not the ones who really commited the sins, maybe it is said they were born with a sin because they were conceived by a sinner. I have no idea what happens to the new born when they die, all I was taught was that they go to heaven and become an angel. have a nice day :)

hi meumeu... you posted " maybe it is said they were born with a sin because they were conceived by a sinner." Well that is a really good point to discuss. and so it meant that since we are of the flesh and are sinners born to this world - that is because we have sort of inherited the sins of our fathers, and their fathers... thus we go back to the origin why humanity fell and "was separated" away from God... Thank you for your response. hope we can discuss further on what you think about this? =) cheers!
