In Chicago South side, where the Gang fights are the worst. There were several people become victimized from the spree of bullets among gun fights. It is so sad to hear those story, people were die because of they were trying to dodge the bullet; unfortunately, the shooting hit them unintentionally. A guy who were came out of night clubs one night was hit by a spree of bullet, without instant medical attention, he was die at the scene. Another one is a little girl who sell soda on the street, when she heard the gun fights, she run toward her home. A bullet hit her on the back, she die instantly, and she was only 8 years old. With all these tragedy, should we do something to against those gangs. With more and more innocent people die of those gang fights, is there anyway we can avoid it?

I don't recall the name of the program in Chicago but it was featured on Secret Millionaire that tries to help the teenagers in the area put aside their gang rivalries and do something better with their time. The numbers they mentioned are staggering!
Well other than avoiding traveling in that area is the one way you can avoid it in Chicago. However, to stop this behavior things need to change in the communities. Politicians and victim's families rally in their speeches to make a difference in those areas yet problems remain. I think they need to get to the root of these problems starting with the education system, the community's attitudes/culture, family values, morals, and opportunities for all people to make a good wage without going to college. Locking people up will not stop the next generation from following in the previous' footsteps... til attitudes and opportunities change. The trouble is to make that happen to teach people a better way of living, to make good choices, and to appreciate life.

such a tragic fate for the young girl who was just trying to earn a living.
Your local police should do something about it because more and more innocent lives will be affected if this continues. Your local government should be focusing on these kinds of things.
I'm sure they will say that they're doing their best, but apparently their best isn't good enough.
I only wish that somehow, the life of the girl that was lost will be justified and those who have committed the crime be brought to justice.
