Hey everyone I want to design a new landline phone with a built in feature that no one has done. I WILL NOT TELL PEOPLE MY IDEA. But I need some help on how do I go about getting a landline phone designed and how to I get a prototype made without my idea being stolen?

Oh, if you have a new idea, you can submit your patent of it. Since your patent is submitted, your idea will be protect and if any one uses it, they have to pay money for it.

Are you a network engineer or something? I believe you must be a registered or license in some kind of build before you can do that because those people who designed stuff like that yours need to follow some standard procedures before their designed be approved by whoever approves it.

I have not idea what you planned due to the fact you did not wanted us to know your new concepts in renovating the features of your new landline phones. It is up to you what you planned for renovating your new phone. It is very hard to suggest anything you do not know, even simple things are difficult to do when you do not know the design made would just be a waste of time in my part and so is yours because my concepts are different when it refers to your new design,so you better plan what you think is the ultimate phone you wanted all people to use in the future.Be sure that your new phone design is more user friendly than what was presently use.Be sure that it is more than convenient than the usual phone, that it has not just the caller identification number but also his complete residential address. If you made that phone I will certainly be your number one buyer.

I don't know what new feature you could be considering adding to a landline phone that hasn't been tried before, but would it be a good enough one to reverse the increasing trend towards using cellphones nowadays where some homes no longer install or even have a landline? If you don't have the design or construction skills to produce a prototype yourself,You either need to learn them or get some advice from someone who has.. A Patent on the concept is probably your best option,if it's something unique. Me,I haven't yet given up on the landline..at least,as long as I need my internet hookup..maybe I'll see your idea sometime..good luck!

the best thing to do when you have a great idea is to present it to someone you trust in the university or industry. usually, there is a partnership between universities and industries that work on research and development of products. you can also do your own research on how a certain idea gets attention and unstolen from original source. i wish you the best.

As far as I know there is the patent office that will help you keep your product yours but it will cost you money to give you sole rights to your invention. Keep in mind that ideas can not be patented only products and names. Therefore in the process you should think up a good name and actually make a real prototype. If you need to hire someone to help you, a contract can be written to protect your invention rights. Many people start with prototypes that don’t actually work or work properly to get a product line started and then develop it as they go along. As we can see here money does comes into play therefore some kind of market analysis is also a good investment of money and time too so that confidence of selling it later shows if it is possible.

why do you want to do that since there are very new and more no of designs in the market and its good to use that rather than trying a innovation, anyways all the best for your ambition
