Has technology brought us closer together?

I think talking about the advantages and disadvantages of technology are very important. It allows us to examine our life and how it has changed because of inventions or creations. I think technology has brought the world a little bit closer. It has enabled different groups to come
together because of a common belief. That like button that is used on Facebook is a way to show your interested or support something. Whether its a political idea, a groups mission, or a picture of something untouched adore, Facebook is enabling you to get your vote in and have your voice heard. Having your voice heard allows you to connect with people who also have that belief just because you hit that like button. The ability to blog on the Internet is anothe way of gettin ones voice heard and being recognized by others who agree with them. It allows for someone to gain advice from someone that they may not know but has gone through the same experience. For example blogs about parenting that wa designed my one moms to enable all moms to help each other. I think this unity that we are beginning to see is just a start of what technology is going to do for us.

technology is good. it helps me sitting thousands of miles away from you to communicate to you. it helps us earn money also. yes. technology should be used rightly for right purposes.
we spend time in mylot to known and also to earn. that way it is good. but i use facebook only to tell about my blog site. good day.

The technology is advantage but only when used properly and regularly. I watched films about experiments for people siting for like 3 - 4 days in the social sites and all that kind of sites and after that days the person just go crazy and forget himself. The technologies are good think but if not used as properly than they become killers.

i also agree with you. we must use the technology for right usage. spening hours together on watching movies or in face book should be avoided. similarly one should not spend more than his allotted time for other online activity also because it may affect our career.

I agree with you. To some extent, technology has brought all of us around the world much closer together. We can easily find out how another country or state is doing and lend a helping hand whether it be in the form of online donations or signing of petitions. It is also, as you said, easier for people with common interests to meet and share ideas no matter where you are. This would have been much more difficult in the older days where Internet was unheard of.

I think so because due to technology we can easily contact and communicate with other in any part of the world. But we should really use this technology that we have now responsibly to avoid unnecessary problems in the end that we might regret.

Yes. Because if it weren't for technology I wouldn't be posting here in your thread :D Anyway, technology in terms of communication helped us all (I think) as we can now communicate with our relatives or loved ones who are miles away from us. It also helped us to gain new friends from all over the world. But yes if technology has its advantages, disadvantages follows so hopefully everyone who uses technology are responsible enough to use it in a good way.

No, doubt technology has brought us closer to each other. Now we can send mail through wire via mail in few second from one part of the world to another part of the world. We can chat with other without spending an extra penny from our pocket. At the same time using a web cam we can see each other.
If technology is used in a proper way there are many advantages of it.

I can see both positive and negative aspects of technology. I don’t use facebook, never have, should I? The idea of pushing buttons and putting up blogs sounds good to me though sometimes I do wonder about the responses you get, how many people actually take the time to read you or what effect it has?
I’m all for new inventions and open to new things.

yes, technology has brought immense changes in our lives, but an invention has its pros and cons, with it. The technology is like two two sides of a sword, so the result depends on how we use it. If we think of all the negative aspects of an invention , we cant think of making any other invention in future.

Hi friend, using the internet we have the ability to communicate with any one at any time, surely it keeps close to the person, we have the ability to make friendship with anyone around the world and send information to them within fraction of seconds. We get more information from net and increase our knowledge in various ways.
