In India people think Doctors as God as they save life of Humans by their knowledge and practice, but now days it has become a business as they are doing unnecessary check ups, if you are having headache they will send for some tests which is not relevance to the actual disease or suffering cause.
Is it happening just because they want to make money or the whole system is corrupt and they are just part of it?

I agree to you that some doctors do such business favors from the patients. Being a doctor is having a big responsibility to help and serve his or her clients. The reputation of being righteous should be visible to them, not to think in gaining monetary values.

I don't trust the whole thing to Physicians since I'm exposed in a corrupt country. It's an S.O.P to them to conduct further test if the problem is still occur. I dislike when you have to go back for follow up check-up then let you pay again. As if they'll do some thing to make sure you're okay, just a little talk then pay a professional fee. That's why most people don't go back when they think they are cured. I'm one of them. Since I'm part of the medical field as i observe most of the private hospitals require down payment upon admission either you need urgent treatment or not you must produce the required amount. And in Government hospitals you get less service/treatment plus insult from the staff. They won't give the right treatment unless you are endorsed by someone above.
If being a Physician is their calling and willingness to serve then why they stick their As in Urban area and well known Institute? Rural areas needed them. I salute those Doctors who prefer to work in community, find ways to raise funds and got nothing in return.

All I can say about this is my own experiences. I have lived long enugh to have it both ways. It was a comfort to treat my Doctor like a God, he had the answers and he was responsible for that part of my life. But now he is in business and I am a customer. I must say that it is more work on my part, but after finding how often my God like Doctor was ill informed or just plain wrong I at least know that I can obtain the information necessary to have informed judgement guide my choices.
Doctors have found that if they want returned business they better treat the customer well and I like that. If I have a Doctor that is still under the impression that he is God, I just don't do business with him. With the availability of the information hwy. anyone who takes the time can research almost
any illness they come up against. If not, you can bet the Doctors don't have much information on it either. I treasure good customer relations and up to date information on research when I have a problem.

Here in our country, ost people does not believe that doctors are willingness to serve human beings because most poeple in lower state of life thinks that visiting doctors are just expenses added to their basic needs. This is because they look doctors as just a profession earning money.
I just want to share what happened to us when we brought our son accidentally burned by hot water. They did not immediately serve our son because they thought that my grand mother and one of our neighboor who brought our son to the hospital does not haave money to pay the bill (we are at work that time).
During the accident time, we already asked the attending doctor if our son will be confined. He said, no because the affected area are just shallow. On the third day wherein they will clean the wound, the attending physician that time asked us that our son must be confined and a surgeon must took care of it, we asked how much will be the doctor's fee and the wounds are already dried up. They immediately told us the amount even the surgeon haven't seen our son. They also give us the possible thing to be done, of course, with extra expenses. We leave the hospital and took care of our son at home do the necessary cleaning, application of cream.
After a few days, I heard that hospital just really wants to earn more money that having willingness to serve those tho are sick.
