Hey there yep it is me the Gissi (Gabs Dog)
Mum decided to let me go on here for a bit so I can let all my Friends know that I am ok and full of Fun, well Mum calls it mischief
A lot has happened since I have been here last, I have had to have an operation to remove my manhood, as I got very sick and the Vet said it was the only way to keep me alive, my Heart made it as that was the main concern, but goodness when I woke up I felt sore and I could not walk straight, I fell with my head in the water bowl when I tried to have a drink so Mum helped me, I have to say she did well in not laughing when she noticed I was ok but I know she wanted to, Buttons (Devil Cat) was actually being nice for a change, all I wanted to do that Day was sleep
Mum has got a Picture of my insides as well which the Vet gave her to show her what was going on
Buttons who is now bigger then me is a little Pain, he keeps getting under the Settee and then swiping me, I tell him of but he takes no notice, I even smacked my Head once on the wooden part of the Settee I was not happy, specially as Mum was laughing while she was telling Buttons of, I used to sleep in Buttons Bed to annoy him, if he came to it I would growl at him and he would go away...............but then he started to slepp in MY BED well I soon put a stop to that one
A few weeks back I got in my bed not knowing Buttons was in there under my Quilt well he scared both of us I jumped out of bed and shouted like mad .......to make it worse Buttons just laid under the Quilt and looked at me, he would not move I went closer to him and shouted at him so he ran of, all Mum did is laugh ..........I was not impressed and let Mum know my turning my Back on her when she spoke to me, then 3 weeks back Mum took me to Sarah my Groomer and THEY decided, not asked me, that I should have my fur very short because of my Skin Problem, I was NOT happy with them at all specially when Mum said she will buy me a T-Shirt if I get to cold ..yeah Mum very funny but to top it all Mum and Mel went away for a week and I was not happy with Mum, I wanted her Home, I love my Auntie Jean who looked after me but I missed my Mum, so I was being a bit of a naughty boy while Mum was away hmmmmmmmmm Mum told me I am not allowed to be naughty again .................. the thing is Auntie Jean put me in time out when I was really naughty but my Roxie came and sat with me so it wasn't to bad
When Mum came home I was so happy but then I showed her how annoyed I was ...........I did not speak to her for a few Hours
I will attach a Photo of my new Hair cut
Anyway that is what has been happening so what about all of you

Well, I've already said I like your haircut, lets us see your muscles!
Yeah, my brats, I mean cats, can be little devils too, but they are really nice and warm in the winter time. Last year he was a baby, but I bet this year you will discover he's a very good "hot water bottle."
Sorry, but cats don't much recognize anyone as boss but themselves....

He is still a pain at times but I put him in his place he has to know I am the Boss
I know you said you like my Hair cut it did feel a bit strange at first but is easier because Mum can see what is going on and get to it straight away

Now Gissi, you look wonderful and I am sure you feel cooler. You know my Ciara, who has the long hair border collie coat, she gets a shave down every spring so she isn't overly hot and I am so glad I did it this year because we just came through a heat wave of triple digits, (We rarely get triple digits and when we do, it isn't for but a day or two), this heat wave lasted for over a week and even though we were all hot, poor Ciara would have been misrerable miserable under all that fur.
As for your little friend Buttons, well he is there to keep you on your toes..lol

The thing is we do not have a nice summer here at all, everyone is getting fed up, all we get is rain
But I like my new Hair cut now I was not to happy at first but at least Mum can get to my Skin now to take away the hurt and itching I have

I just know Ciara feels great too, she just hates having her nails clipped, I mean she literally cries like she is being hurt, yet Penny is good at letting her nails get clipped..

Hi Gissi, you look real cute with your haircut. Hope you've recovered from your operation. Remember you're not any less of a dog with your important bits missing. I feel really sorry for you having to contend with that Moggie!!

You look gorgeous and we are so happy to hear you are doing well. My three babies are doing OK only Pep is having problems. He has allergies and has scratched himself raw in places and has baldie spots, The doctor gave him medicine (Predisone) and that made him fat and not too happy. He is doing better on a different med. We also have a cat now, his name is Charlie and he is a year old and gets along well with Pepi and Honey but not so well with Schatzie as she is the Boss so she keeps him in line.
It is so nice to hear from you again.

You probably don't want to hear that my friend's kitty had 5 beautiful babies about 3 weeks ago, and are at the starting to explore stage, but your Mum might be interested.

Gissi, I can only say that you do look very smart with your new hair cut! I don't know what the weather is like where you are - probably very rainy as it seems to be all over England - but most long-haired dogs actually appreciate having a trim in the summer.
I hope that letting the air get to your skin will help you get over your skin condition.

Hi there Mister Owlings, it is wet here as well in Essex and Mum says it is awful.
The Hair cut is helping me and Mum can get on top of things now when my Skin starts Mum said she will keep it shorter because it is better for me and as you say the air is now getting to my Skin and helping, in the Winter if it gets really cold I have my Winter Coat which I have always had but Mum will only put it on me if it is really cold

well Gizzy I thought that I was going to have a problem getting my two cats into the seniors building that I am moving into the lst of Sept. I was going to smuggle them in but hope that I didn't get a letter saying I would have to get rid of my babies. That would just kill me.
It is okay though because now I found out that I can keep my cats. Junia and Rugby are so happy.

Uh Gissi, I don't mean to be too personal, but when you say your mom had your manhood cut off, you mean just two things, right? You're not missing everything, correct? Because I'm trying to figure out what you'd do if that meant the whole shebang was gone.

I must say you look soooo handsome with your new haircut! I bet all the other dogs in the neighborhood are really jealous! And I know you will feel better with all that hair gone, and a new T-shirt to boot! You are one lucky fella.
I'm sure Buttons loves you very much and only annoys you because he DOES love you. It's more fun that way and keeps you on your toes.

goodness Gissi, you look like you are going with the style tho. many men are shaving all their hair these days, so you are in style.

I am so glad to hear from you Gissi. Sorry you had to go through that opperation, but I bet you don't really remember it now. Mum does, but you don't. That is one of the best things about being a dog, you are concerned with the present and will leave the past behind. Wish we could all do this. Blessings

So very handsome..I'm so very sorry that you have been sick and glad that you seem better now. Thank you for liking my Haircut I didn't like it at first but now I am happy with it
The Operation was very sore I cried all Night and Mum gave me cuddles then in the morning she traveled to the Vet to buy my Pain Killers I love you Auntie Joyce so much big hugs xxxxx
