I have good education but my job is not good. I don't earn a lot compared to others. My younger sister hasn't finished college but then she is earning more than me. I hate that. LOL! Some of my classmates earn good but some are not. But I still believe that good education help you to get a good job. Some people who have good education has good jobs.

No it doesn't guarantee a good job, but it guarantees you better opportunities than others. Those with no good education, or let say foundation, will really have a hard time landing a job. In your case, I don't know why you have less decent job than your sister, but I guess somewhere along the road you had the oppurtunity to take something good but choose something instead, and with your sister, she must be lucky. happy myLotting

Hello Tess. I don't think a good education guarantees a good job. You may have gone through the best education compared to your friends but if you have no interest or passion in doing the job, you're not likely to be able to keep a good job. Also, there are many people these days with a good education so there are many competitors for a single job opening. Those who are unable to find a company to employ them end up doing other jobs that are different from what they studied for. In the end, whatever job you get, if you show interest and are hardworking, most likely you will end up getting paid well and your work will be appreciated.

Most people will definitely disagree when you say that good education guarantees a good job. Let us be clear here first, a good job really depends on every person as some people like to do somethings while others aren't that comfortable with it. So a good job can mean a job that pays a good amount of money or a job that you enjoy working in. Now, as for good education it does not necessarily guarantee a good job but it definitely gives you greater chance at having one. Most jobs that pay well usually require more work and are more stressful than others, so I don't think that would fit in as good job for others. Anyway, I do hope that you get a better job, one that pays good and is enjoyable at the same time. Good luck!

Among my classmates in elementary didn't not finished college like me but they earning much more than I do, sometimes I got insecure to them because of their income but then I realized I just need to wait for the right opportunity and time then soon i will have a good and stable job too. Also I believe those who has a good education background if they work hard and focus on their job they will achieved their dream job and earn much in due time.

Well I know in the Philippines most of you all have lots of schooling a degrees and such, in fact my girlfriend is from there and she has a few herself. I don't really think that it is a guarantee of anything really. In my observation coming from a small town in Canada education is really not that important, in that I work a min wage job were like 30 percent of the people making the same crap money are highly educated. The most successful person in my high school when I graduated became a plumper!! So my answer in short is nothing is for sure, whith that said it wouldn't hurt. besides it's all location I think and luck.

I also face the same situation...! My education, the college where I studied everything is good but my salary is comparatively low compared to others...! What I learn from my life is, not only the quality of education but also the wise decision on the first job what you chose will decide your career growth...! My friends even they took little time to get the first job chose the "right job" which made them to grow at a faster rate than me...! Education will definitely fetch you a good job.. it can fetch may good jobs.. but we should be wiser enough to select a good job out of it...! Not simply getting any job out of the offer list...!

Good Education = Good job ??? I don't think so, too many factor involved. Good education can help us to get good job but that just one factor, other thing like : chance, condition , commitment, hard work, reputation, other skill etc. also take place. In many cases, many people work in particular job which nothing to do his / her education. For example (really happen to my friend), he/she had education in engineer field but he/she work at bank (financial institution). This situation happened many times in my country

Both me and my husband never finished college and we both had better job's then all of our friends and actually have a better living then all of them that just finished college. To me the more education you have doesn't get you a better a job. Yes it means you have more open doors but that doesn't mean you'll have a better life or a better job or more money coming in because you have had a few more years then someone else.

I used to believe good education would bring me good job, but in reality, good educations give you good knowledge, but not good job. In order to get a good job, one has to be cunning, demanding, and sometimes do something which against your will...

Good education is a critical step in making it easier for you to find a good job. Note that it is only one of the steps in ensuring you find a good job. It is important but at the same time it is not required or necessary. You can deny yourself good education and it is still possible to get a good job and similarly , you can give yourself the best education in the world and yet you could still end up with a rotten job. There are just too many factors contributing to your future job and education that seems to be so very much important at first glance is in fact only a minor part of it. Such is the wonder of life.

Education means understanding the concept of what you studied.Companies expecting these kinds of people. They expect creative people who do things different from others.Every people will get good marks if they bigard and wrote the things in exam. But real life entirely differs.Education is only a step stone, you should plan how to build the house from the stone.Creative ideas are started from this stage. If you have full fledged knowledge no body will beat you.You will be the master for everybody.

It's about attitude. Yes, good education may land you a job. But what is important in this life is your attitude. If you're aggressive and would like to achieve things, then you need to 'own' the part. I have friends with lesser education who have better jobs as well. My mom would always tell me the life story of one of her batchmates. One of her batchmates who wasn't the smartest person in their class was able to make a great business with lots of franchise all over the globe. He wasn't the smartest. However, he employs their class Valedictorian. The moral? It's not about how much you know, it's how much you want to be successful. Though of course, the mere fact that they both met, is because they both went to school. So I think your chances of landing a job is higher if you have a good education. But what proves success is beyond what can be taught in school. Have a great Mylot experience ahead!

I don't think it's a guarantee that when you have a good education, you're definitely going to get a good job. However, a good education does brighten up your prospect of getting a good job though. A good education and a good job does not guarantee success, but success relies mostly on hard work and perseverance, and sometimes a bit of luck too. Your sister is currently earning more than you, but then again, it does not mean that she's more successful in life than you are. Money is not everything, and definitely not the sole measure of success. If you have a plan for your life and goals for your future, and then put them into action, I'm sure you can be more successful than your sister. But still, even if your sister is earning more than you now, be happy for her as she is your sibling!

A good education does not necessarily entail a good job. I have a friend who has already graduated from a top university in our country who took an honors program in that school but he hasn't found a good paying job yet. I also know a lot of people from my university that do not have any jobs yet. Some take even more than a year to find the good paying job that they want. So, technically, I believe that even if you have the best education, it does not mean that you will get the best job. Getting the best job will depend on the person and not his credentials.

Well, i a am to be asked, i would say that having a good job will also depend on the place you live in. Like in our place, graduates students of any course worked in a mall after graduating. I am not saying that working in the mall is bad. What i emphasized is that there are no vacancies on any agencies where one can apply his knowledge and from what one did learned from a school or university.
