vacations are fun

i just returned yesterday after one month long summer vacations. i was leading a monotonous life but now i am energized, rejuvenated, full of enthusiasm. vacations gives you an oppurtunity to spend your time with your family, to be yourself, free from all worries and tensions. really enjoyed a lot..............

You are definitely right that vacations are a lot of fun. We haven't had the opportunity to take a vacation for several years because finances have been extremely tight for our family. However, it is my hope that this time next year we will be planning on a great vacation for our family.
What we really want to be able to do with our children is to take them to the beach for the first time.

Yes it is really fun to go on vacation. For me, vacation is some sort of a battery charger. When you are totally worn out by work or whatever you do, vacation provides you a way to recharge and be energized again. Truly it is wonderful to go on vacation. Some people say that its expensive to go on vacation. But for as long as you know and make a plan, it does not need to be. Of course it entails money but this does not mean you have to take those things that you cannot afford. What is important is that you enjoy and relax. After all, what is the purpose of working when you do not even have time to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

i totally agree with you, we labor hard day and night, so we can atleast be on vacations for few days and enjoy the fruits of our labour

A month long vacation! that's great! I wish I had that long vacation too, and the finances to fund that. hehehhe. In my job, we only got 5 vacation leaves a year. This means I have to think of using them only for important matters. A long weekend is great, that's why I usually schedule my leaves on a Monday or Friday. Currently, I only have three leaves left. *sigh*
So how did you spend your vacation? Were you on a cruise?

not really, i had been to my parents house, then i had gone to a farm which is close to a forest area, had been to a national park and even visited our neighbourig country ie. Nepal just for a day. i and my hubby had also been to macleodganj, which is a hilly area. had really lots of fun............

That's a great vacation you had there. I had always wanted to go on a vacation that's close to nature... a beach, the mountains, a farm... There was this one time when I was with a group of friends in an isolated cove -- no telephones, no electricity and not mobile phone networks. Ha! The best vacation I ever had. I miss it.

That's why i'm planing my trip to different places for a really long rest.I feel happy about that.For i can be myself and find another different real world.So,just keep finding the amazingness of the world and enjoy your nice long life journey.

I'm so glad that you enjoyed your vacation. I understand completely what you mean. A vacation really does refresh you. It's nice when we are able to get out of town and enjoy activities together with our family. I'm looking forward to my husband and I going on another trip next year. I'm not sure where we are going just yet but I'm sure we will have fun.

Thanks. I hope that you have been able to settle into being at home again. My husband is excited to take another trip. He would like to plan another weekend trip for next month. I don't think it's financially possible but I'm happy he is excited to try and plan something.

ha ha----actually it was by chance because i was unable to get reservation in train, so i had to extend my holidays before i could return home, but i definitely enjoyed a lot

this was the first time i couldnot board the train, my hubby reserved the train ticket 3 times for me, but atlast i had to return to my city by bus.
a really long journey in the bus, that too for the first time

My next vacation is in a few weeks my hubby and I are going to Rockfest to see some bands play for a few days. Camping and partying out to bands! Then my next one is in September we are going to Aruba for a week for my birthday and I CAN'T wait for that one! I have already picked up quite a few cute bathing suits and sun dresses to wear lol

summer vacations are always we long for because these vacations not only rejuvenate us but always give us an oppurtunity to spend our time with our parents, kids and of-course hubby too

thank u, i am feeling lucky i had one, i have got so many responses, in most i found that most of them dont have finances to plan one. anyway, have a great day, i hope u could go on a vacation
