i think it is some kind of rheumatism. because i have eaten some salty foods on my dinner. anyway, hopefully i can avoid taking a lot of salty foods. i do like salty foods because it takes good on my tongue. i can't resist to add more salt or anything that can give more flavor on the food. so i am just trying to somehow to ignore the paid. it is not that painful but it still is quite painful. but very much bearable though.

Well I don't like the salty food because is just too salty for me. These days most of the people eat more salt than it is needed. You should try to reduce the salt because you know that if you overdo with something it becomes bad for you.

hi, rheumatism is sometimes cause of eating salty foods and it will affect our urinating because our uric acid will increase that will result to feel at night hurting our feet or our legs, actually my younger sister experiencing it and when she had a check up they found that she had a high uric acid.

While there are plenty of health reasons to avoid high sodium foods, it is unlikely that your high level of salt intake is the culprit in your body pain. It may exacerbate the issue, but it isn't in and of itself the cause. Ginger and turmeric (which can be found by itself or as part of curry powder) both have anti-inflammatory properties. As a regular part of your diet, they may help with your pain. Of course, a diet that is rich in fresh fruits and veggies is helpful. Limit processed foods. However, in order to know what is truly going on with your body, you need to consult with your doctor. Knowing the actual cause of the problem will help you tailor your diet to address the issue.

Well, it seems like you are very aware of the cause of the pain you are experiencing now. You better avoid it. We know how hard it is to avoid things we used to had, but its for your own good! Get well soon, dear.

I hope that you will start to feel better. It isn't fun when we aren't feeling good. It is very difficult to avoid foods that are unhealthy for us. As they often taste really good.

I have not heard of that happening with salty foods. That must be frusterating! I have to be aware of the amount of exposure to heat because of my meds. Which I was never told about this from my doctors..... That seems a bit negligent in my opinion! Dont you think?

Well, i think that could be the cause. But salty foods is not the one that causes much effect on rheumatism. If I am not mistaken, its usually those that are related with nuts and beans. They have some acid contents that will surely create pain most especially if you have rheumatism. Cold weather tends to add more problem for such. So try to control those nuts and beans if you are taking them and avoid exposure to cold. Let see if it gets well and if if does, then most likely correct on the rheumatism thing. Regardless, I wish you best and hope you will be well soon.

which part of your body is hurting? All over? I guess I have the same situation. But I hope the pain goes away. I am never fond of salty foods. I'm a "super taster". When one adds a little salt -- even just a little, i would immediately say (out of habit) "too salty!" But then, when i get bored, I chips ... they're salty *ulks* I hope your pain goes away. If it does, tell me what you did. Yey!
