I am cheating mylot as I write this because I am from Singapore and of course I know what batik is. The best thing about batik from Indonesia is that it is kind of opague and very cooling to wear. I love the patterns on it too.

I very often hear about batik. Because I come from Indonesia. I often use batik. I am very proud, if someone from another country, get to know, and using batik. Batik today, not just for clothes. But, also used to make other goods. Such as, bags, jackets, shoes, slippers, towels, and many others.

Yes i have heard of it. In fact i have lots of it at home belonging to myself, my mom and dad. I wear it as sarongs when i sleep at night. Depending on where it is from BATIK is a popular cloth in Indonesia and Malaysia. Basically the South East Asian region. I am not so sure about the design. Certain countries has this spesific design that is signature to them. I think floral designs is the signature design to the Indonesian batik. The best and most expansive batik are the ones crafted using hands. Even the designs.
