my god mother has an annoying neighbor. the neighbor is too nosy and don't seem to understand the word private. she thinks that it's cool to mind other people's business. so every time my god mother sees her she always heads to other direction before she sees her first.
one time she can't avoid her so what she did was my god mother pretend that she is call someone on her cellphone... but i think she runs out of luck. damn the phone... it rings while she looks like a fool.
i told her that if you do that trick... uhhh keep your phone on silent mode because even if it rings your nosy neighbor wont hear it.
so have you fall a victim to your own tricks?

Haha, that sounds funny, I usually pretend to text or looking for something in my bag, but I havn't tried pretending talking to someone on my phone. I totally agree with you nosy people are so annoying sometimes, I hate socializing with people like that. When they talk to me, I just go with the flow, just answer with a nod, maybe, and I don't think so and pretend I don't know anything. They tend to gossip to everybody and there's no way I would give them the chance to spread any information from me unless it's helpful.

nosy are nosy... they talk about people who are their neighbors. i just hope that they will be a celebrity reporter so they can make something worth the information. i don't know what is meant for them the word entertainment. i guess Steve Jobs invented ipad so we will have entertainment. guess i should advice my godmother to send her neighbor a tv or something for Christmas.

Hahaha, Oh that probably will be a really good and bad idea at the same time, imagine if your godmother bought her a tv on christmas, your neighbour will think your godmother likes her so much and she will like her more too and won't live her alone anymore. :P

samsung corby model cellphone has this what they call as "fake call." if i were in a situation where i'm in a group and i want to leave but couldn't, i activate the fake call. :) your cellphone will ring as if you have an incoming call. then i will make an excuse to answer the call so i can leave them. thanks to samsung for creating this brilliant technology! hahaha...

yeah she won't i advice her to tell the truth and it that doesn't work well she can send a gift to a neighbor to make her entertain than snooping around with other people's business.

I don't play tricks,, 'cause I don't know any successfully working tricks and worked on honesty. If somebody was annoying I would not just right away say that but I would act not listening to them and they would be humiliated and leave us,, no??

Wow that was really awkward and that must had been the talk of the neighborhood for a while, well next time that she is on a call maybe the neighbor will not hear and in actuality a friend of mine did that to us while we were in a meeting trying to escape the scene then his phone rang and he was the laughing stock of the group even until now when we remember.

lol. some people just cant mind their own business. One needs to resort to tricks to deal with such people. i have fallen victim to my tricks many many times. many times to disastrous results. but you live and learn.

I cannot remember a single thing that I fell a victim in my own tricks. Maybe I am just too forgetful

Seriously, it happens unexpectedly and it was really so embarrassing to be in that situation. I guess, your mom should tell your neighbor what she really feels. If your mother do not want to share her private life then she must say it in a kind way to your neighbor. That way she need not pretend or do some tricks to avoid your annoying neighbor.

my godmother so try to be nice to others but she needs to draw some lines. i think that her way of being nice is her not telling the annoying neighbor that she is annoying. i think that it's really better if she should be out in the open and may be she can help out the neighbor to change her bad habits.
