I have observe that everytime I spend too much time on my computer and other electronics, I can't sleep in the night. I keep tossing in my bed and stay awake tell dawn. My head feels heavy but my eyes is wide awake. I've experience this before, I started avoiding staying online for too long and minimize the time I spent in front of the tv. It took time to change my sleeping habit but it worked. How about you? Do you think electronics have something to do with insomnia?

It is possible, I never thought of it that way though. I have insomnia most nights and wonder now if it really is true with me. All of us are different, so maybe it's nothing to do with it. I mostly just work on here and sometimes interact with FB friends in between.

Hi meumeu25
Can you do something about then?
I find that devices don't keep me awake other things do. Worries bothered about life in general, heat, diet and shifting attitudes such as being frustrated with money issues. Reading negative things or only reading about complaints or problems on my PC might annoy me but I fail to see how a computer is connected to insomnia. Doesn’t insomnia have more to do with our mental state than technology? Actually TV puts me to sleep but an alarm clock wakes me up if I allow it to.

Actually I have never really had any sleeping problems till now but I know when you stimulate your brain before you go to bed it gets hard to fall asleep.I think its your habit like try enlisting things or your worries that keeps you up all night not electronics.

The internet is the reason why I always sleep late at night! I just refuse to slow down when I suppose to. I really have to deal with this, it's not healthy. There is more to life than just the cyber world..

I'm quite the opposite. Too much time on the computer actually makes me sleepy. The things that keep me up are mostly financial problems and coffee. I tried books, sheep-counting, listening to music when I couldn't sleep but it didn't help. Boring books actually make me wake up even more. :)

but I suppose some things on the computer for example might keep you awake if they stimulate you.
