I have seen videos a few years ago from youtube about this dancing inmates from Cebu City Philippines. Then I've come across their veideo again yesterday and realized that jail are not a scary place to go after all if all of the prison house will adopt this kind of activity. See, from a feared place because of notorious prisoners to a tourist spot because of their extraordinary choreograph routine exercise. I guess this is a great move from any government official to help inmates in such a way to at least alleviate their loneliness, boredom and painfull suffering from being away from home that leads them to do all the chaos inside. How I wish that more prison jail admins will do the same or at least similar activity.

There is always a misconception when it comes to prisoners... that they are all bad.. but I do believe that some of them were just blamed or mistaken by others.. I also believe that putting up such choreograph on inmates is good, for them to forget and repent on the things that they've done.. specially it would also keep them fit inside the jail.

i am from Cebu City and i am very proud of this very positive move on the part of our local government here. dancing gives our inmates an outlet of all their negative energies aside from the other activities they have inside thereby making their rehabilitation back into the mainstream of society faster and effective.

hi grenzy8 that sounds like a very good idea for the in mates and for the visitors too. more humane and could actually help rehabilitate them. i think this should be adopted in more prisons myself as a help to really rehabilitate the prisoners.
