What are you studying in college?

This November, I'll be sitting for a pre-university exam on General studies, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. The exam is called Malaysian Higher School Certificate, you can search it on google to know more :) And so I was wondering, since a lot of you here are university-educated(it doesn't matter if you're not, just for the record), I think it would be interesting to know about the major you are currently studying. Or to those of you who have graduated, it will be great to know something about your line of profession as well :) I'm interested in taking science-related course when someday in Uni. I actually hope I can become a doctor. It's a tough journey, so wish me luck. Which brings you to the question, what course are you taking/did you take in college? Is it just me or college is not the same as university? I thought so. Oh well. Make sure you're on mylot alerts because once you start responding, I'll be asking questions. I'm anticipating an active question. I ask a lot, and I talk a lot. Be warned!

I took chemistry when I wa in college and now I am licensed cehmist by profession here in our country. I am now working in a laboratory from a known company here in our country. In choosing your path, you must know what you really like and pusue it. Also, you must choose a quality school in order for you to get the best in college.

A chemist, how wonderful. I'm sure you love your job. I know it's not about the money, but does it pay well?

Oh since you're a chemist do you mind if I ask you certain questions about my study on chemistry?

I have just completed a degree in Psychology, and got good grades in it, so I am now thinking about what I am going to be doing in the future. I am thinking about going back to University and training as a midwife, as this is something that I have liked the sound of for a long time now. The only problem that I am having right now is the fact that I don't have all that much money, and that means that I will have to find a good job for the next year if I am going to be able to afford to live while I am doing my course.

A degree in psychology, interesting. I bet you had lots of fun. May I ask where did you completed your degree? I wish you best of luck on your future endeavours and hopefully you'll get to become a midwife :) That's an interesting job though, I imagine I'd love to have one when I'm going to have a baby someday. Because pregnancy to me actually sounds scary!
