I usually avoid to go out on two wheeler whenever there is a heavy rains. Because due to the heavy rains roads are not clearly visible to drive and so there are possibilities of vehicle slip and accident. Now a days it is noticed that young generation is having craze of high speed and that too on bike which is very dangerous for them as well as others on the road. Are you agree with me?

wow roshigo, hydro plane is not an item/object something you use...hydro plane is when you are driving and there is a lot water on the roadway and our car hits the water with force and goes/get airborne...now does your response make any kind of sense????

I could not agree more, when I was in my 30's, I rode a big honda bike' long before all the cheap made in China scooters were around, I finished basic course in the 90's in the what was then Honda riding academy of Honda Japan-Philippines near our place, despite all knowledge and experience, accidents cannot be prevented, I just shake my head now when I see all the young people all over town in scooters, disobeying rules and reving up their bikes as if there is no tomorrow, I cannot judge them, same way my generation could not judge me but just wish and pray that they be careful and stay safe always.

Hi friend, you are right, the youngsters are interested in thrill and doing a lot of unwanted things for getting thrill, we must be very careful while driving two wheeler in the rainy days. I am also in your sort, go with the normal speed in rainy days and avoid two wheeler if it is not necessary

i was reminded of the fact that there are so many road accidents involving motorcycles. People are required to wear helmets (the standard ones) to protect their head during accidents. But people usually ignored this of law enforcers are not manning the streets. So better safe then sorry.

Riding a fur-wheel vehicle is already risky during heay downpours, what more for a two-wheeled vehicle? You are right that nowadays, young generation are risky drivers. They drive as if there are no tommorow. Even when raining, they still drive as fast as they can. Good day!

Hi roshigo58, Yes I totally agree with you. It is very dangerous and risky to go on a two wheeler even on good days let alone rainy days. The bike offers no protection whatsoever. Even if the rider is very careful he or she may get involved in a serious accident due to fault of other inconsiderate road users. I think for the sake of safety all bikes should be banned. Just my thoghts. Have a nice day.

Ya sure this is a nice thing to do in the times of rainy season as the vehicles might skid well and quite easily in this times and to prevent this incidents happening we have to be on the best side by having the young generation to keep a check on their speed meter and its best to go for a cool and nice breezy ride with umbrella by walk

Most definitely. I had to come to office and it started raining. It stopped in a few minutes, but the roads were too wet. I get really scared of driving on wet roads, and I was proved right, I was parking in my office building's basement parking and the scooter slipped on the wet tiles [which idiot put tiles in a parking space I don't know]. I did not fall, I managed to balance it, so that is really good, because being wet and getting hurt is a bad combination, and the weather being cold because of the rain does not help the pain afterwards. I would advice everyone to drive carefully in the rain.

you are right not to go out in the rain on your bike it can be far to dangerous and as you said there are to many people on the road who like to drive too fast so its best to stay safe. You have a made a wise choice.

During rainy days, the number of accidents with bikes are increasing.I really don't want my father to ride his bicycle if it is raining. He'd rather rode on a taxi though its quite expensive to avoid accidents and for safety purposes.
